WHY DO GUYS ALWAYS TELL ME THIS???

Im kind of getting tired of hearing "you're better off without liking me"
is it that they think im too good for them or that they dont want me to like them or what?

They're always like you dont want to go out with me, and they are like telling me all this bad stuff that they do :/

Their way of "letting you down easy"

In other words, they don't like you in that way but like you enough not to hurt your feelings =)

I think that they like you enough to be friends and aren't
ready to go any father so I would just look for some1 else

Actaully sometimes its because the person feels as though their not true worth and because of the trouble they bring, the other is strong and it makes the other feel weak. That there for can make the stronger person not rely there are many situations like this;

Some times they just dont think..and its there way of getting outta what "mess" they cause.. ya know?

i think maybe some of them, the nice ones (if you can tell which ones are nice) are probably not to self confident, i know when i have said that i actually believe they are better off not liking me.
so yeah i think they just dont feel confident about themselves

Ok....I am not some one who has had that happen to me before....But I have gone through it with lots of people. A lot of times it is because they don't want you to freak to bad even though they do know that you will most likely cry freak out so on so on. It is there way of trying to be mean and nice at the same time...A excuse to dump you and save themself. I have not been in a bad relationship but I do know these things one my mom and other people.

Haha well i just dont know one of em still offered to be there when i need him and the other well he just never talks to me anymore. but he says he still wants to be friends but we never talk. i guess i have to talk to him first. which isnt my job. :/

No jaime, i always had to talk to him first.
i had to call him like 5 times everyday because he was always gone and no one told him to call me.
and now his sisters hate me.
so i never call anymore.
and since he has a gf again, he never even tries to talk to me.
