I did theater freshmen year. I was props girl. I became a thespian for my first (and only) play. It was Arsenic and Old Lace. We went on to state. It was so cool because everyone else there said that the only reason they came was to see our play! It was so great! It really is a funny play. And we played around with a few scenes to make them funnier. The only thing though was I was the only props person that went. One of them was kicked out of her house for being a lesbian so she didn't go to the school anymore and the other one just didn't go. So I had some new guy that Ally (a crew person that helped out a lot) and I had to tell him what to do when. It wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't for we messed up. It was bad enough that one of the main characters had a cold so she could barely speak. Ally and I confused the poor guy on accident and I guess it sounded like we told him to take the body out of the window seat during a different act. So when they went to get the body out (one of the best parts of the play) there of course wasn't one! Oh we felt so bad.....Everyone loved our set though. I thought all theaters did the things we did. Apparently not. I'll have to put up pics of what our set looked like so you other theater geeks can tell me if it really is over the top or whether everyone else does the same thing. They really were surprised. We had the best set there. |

Ha! :) Yeah theater was nice....I'll always remember it...Everyone is either nice, gay, crazy, geeky, just anything. I would have joined again if we kept the same cast. I'm very unsocial so it's hard for me to adapt and that was my first and last extra curricular activity. |

I do theatre! and when the shows start back up i was bumped up to right stage manager. for anyone who isn't theatre it means that i tell the fly people when to fly a curtain and which one. and i also tell other techs what and when to move something on and off stage during blackouts. =) the other stage manager graduated last year and she chose me to take over her side =) |

Meh, my senior year English class was just like a Drama class...I think my teacher was misplaced. I had to memorize a few hundred Shakespeare lines...from I think it was Hamlet. We read quite a few Shakespeare plays. |

Never taken theatre... but my English teacher said I should. I've always been good at acting (like doing pranks that involve me keeping a straight face, sounding believable, and being able to control my expressions). I thought about it but there would be no point in me taking a class that won't further my life goals. |
