Personal Challenge

I would like to extend a personal challenge to everyone.

You can all see who is online while you are. I think it would be great for everyone to go through the list at least once a day and find a person that has very few poems.

From there I challenge you to go even further than just reading one of their poems, but to also comment on it as well.

One new person per day per member... think that is to complicated?

I think it would be great if we all did this and then we would get some fresh ideas and who knows maybe even find a great, imaginative, and creative writer.

Good idea. I've already been trying to go through the new poems area and comment on about 5 a day - its been great to discover new writers that I wouldn't have found otherwise just cause I dont see them on the discussion area.

Yeah, this is a really good idea. I've done it a couple times but I guess now I'll do it more.

Yeah good idea but sometimes its fun to search member names or poem names randomly - like type in random words n stuff, n then leave a few comments.

i try to do this as often as i can.
it helps alot i think.

Yeah good call Sher, I check through all the online members and check out their work daily. More than anything, just to give some encouragement to the ones that are just starting. I remember when I first came on here, there was just one person that gave me really contructive criticism .. it makes a huge difference to someone starting out.

I like to rrc latest poems and newest members poems. When I became a member, I actually didnt know how the site worked though there are FAQs. Poets tend to ignore the rules and FAQs so it is a great and helpful thing to rrc newest members work :)
