For Those Engaged or Married

How did they ask you or you ask them? How did you respond? Were people overal happy for you, or disagreed with it?

I have been married since i was 17 he got on 1 knee and proposed but marriage in my eyes isn't ment to work

If its not ment to work then why did u get married?

I got engaged about a year ago when i not long turned 18. i asked his parents for their permission and the only thing that they were worried about was us rushing into things. and this response was the same as my parents. I'm still engaged now and am happy. My fiance and I don't plan to get married for another 4 - 5 years.

It is hard though getting engaged so young...a lot of people think we are too young but if it's meant to be..then why wait and for years to get engaged..there's nothing wrong with a long engagement.

Yeah, you're young, but if you know you want to be with her, why wait? If you know you want to spend your life with her, start living it. You never now what could happen, accidents, etc. and then you'd never have the chance.

We were having a movie night in and having a picnic on the floor, supernoodles and champagne, lol. Something we do at least once a month. He kissed me and the ring was in his mouth and he passed it over in the kiss. It wasn't a huge proposal, nothing fancy but it was perfect because it was Marcus and his way.
Of course i said yes, we plan to get married in 2009 after we've got our flat sorted and our careers on track.
We may be young but we both know when somethings right. His parents got married at our age and are still happily together with four kids. Thats what we want and his family back us up =)

Anyway, I was fourteen when my first boyfriend asked me to marry him. My response, "What mom! You're calling me?" and I ran like heck out of my room and pretended that my mother needed me to do something. lol It worked, he dropped it, and eventually saw how he was way rushing things but never realized he was too obsessed until a year after we broke up.

Currently with my second bf and no plans like that one lol

It is kinda funny how my husband ask me to marry him we were together for 4 years and one night he said lets go to the mall and while we were there he wanted to look at rings well I know he had not alot of money so I picked a cheap little ring out and he got it had the lady box it up and all and when we got out to the car he throw the bag at and me and so will you and I said will I what and he said you know and I said no I dont I played dumb and made him ask me the right way and then I said yes and then like 6 months later we got married and I was 21 and he 22 and we have been married 14 years now.

Well its not like you know if it's ment to be until you try it you know

ex: if you dont like some kinda food you would have had to try it first

My boyfriend ask me to marry him outside the movies in front of his family and friends and my friends. it was so sweet. we left the movies and went outside and everybody was just chillin out front the movies and next thing i know he asked to have everybody's attention and got on one knee and said the sweetest things to me and then asked me. i was in such shock and the ring was sooo beautiful and of course i said yes. everybody there was happy for us but my parents thought we were way to young. but other than that it was a moment i will never forget.
