What's do you think?

We were talking about the salem witch trials in my ap history class the other day and i wanted to know what you guys think about it, if you do know anything about it. i guess i have mixed opinions on it. if the girls who started it were just acting, why were there so many coincidences?

Man those trials were so biased! I feel so sorry for those girls and guys that died. Either way they'd loose. If they say they're innocent they'd be killed with those "tests" and if they say they're guilty they'd have to live the rest of their lives with everyone hating them. I wish in my histroy classes we spoke longer about the trials. It's a very interesting topic.

What i don't quite understand is how a couple of teenage girls with an eggwhite and a glass of water caused so much commotion...

There are connections between everything. Are you claiming to believe in witches?

^^not at all. however how do you explain the fact that it took several grown men to pull apart a woman having a fit? i don't think anybody would have a good enough answer for me. what about the other ideas people have come up with, like rye poisoning in thier bread?
