    *Tainted wings* by DarkSpirit

He whispered quietly to the Gods,
cursing them for what they've done,
    praying for her tears...
... and in the dreams, haunting game began.

    Essentially, we all seek equality
but we encroach for highs on different ways.
While one flies, the other falls...
... but when you once gain wings, you're doomed.

    Eternal waterfalls shaped words,
she aimed for the sky, with an aura still broken,
    went higher then deity's chambers...
... to the palace of the Creator himself.

The judged angel, chosen- one of the Sovereign,
    - that's what the mortals called her;
she truly cared, but the oaths reached her...
... the color of pain identified with the tint of life.

She drank the blood of humans for so long,
loved it, embraced the shivers of identity.
The rainbows that he painted rested in her eyes...
... cosmical rules added a little bit of scarlet on her wings.

The jealousy was the Creator's first emotion,
quickly he demanded the shrieks of demised,
but just an echo of the whispers he heard...
... igneous demon replaced the snow angel.

-She's promised to me-he justifies himself yet deep inside
he knows that this is the act of his twisted consciousness.
Just for amusement he created his own ending...
... before he drowned deep inside the story.

Now the birds invoke the chaos with a melody,
while the tainted-winged demonic angel soars.

    Emerald Eyes
    by Jessica

Running a soft finger over tearstained cheeks
Smiling with tenderness into her pain filled eyes
Silently meeting his delicate gaze, love she seeks
Ruby lips tremble slightly; she hates goodbyes..

Pleading to him mutely as he touches her moist lips
Forcing emerald eyes to remain connected with his
Forlornly reaching for him; tracing a face with fingertips
Relentless tears fall from their basin; what agony this is..

Twirling her once coveted auburn hair; hot tears appear
Kissing her crimson colored lips lightly; a smile he bestows
Regretfully freeing a butterfly; whispering I will always be near
Leaving her to flutter to freedom, only one glossy wing glows..

    Crimson Sighs

Bitter winds have swept the shore
    Taken all I did adore
    Nothing lives here anymore
My heart lay bleeding on the floor

Drink the wine you've come to know
Kiss my veins, release the flow
Touch me now, before you go
I'll think of you when winds do blow

    Crimson sighs and blackened thought
Angry words for all we sought
The bluest eyes I ever caught
Pulled me in to all I fought

    Puzzle of the mind

    Puzzle of the mind
    lets see what it hides
    as we open that door
I plan to go to the core.

It has such a great plot
I can tell from all these thoughts
    as we wonder inside
I point out the dark and light that collide.

We see it battle the heart
a never ending war that ends and starts.
    Deep secrets have walls
as we wonder on there are endless halls.

    Mysteries and questions appear
    I see morals and fears
    as memories are kept near.

    We see what it wants
as it tries to solve its own puzzle of time
the way how to live life

    What descisions shall it make
and what path must it take
trying to shape the future today.

    Emotions effect every part
Hatred, love, sorrow leave thier mark
    Experiences are inscribed and engraved.

They are all here to stay
but minds do not rest or lay.

    Always awake dreaming the night
some are pleasent and some a fright.

This is the puzzle of the mind.

    Opals In The Mind

    Her love so tender,
    Her heart so dear,
    Undenying colour,
    But now I do fear,

    You're caught living high,
    A mighty grasp of hate,
    You're wasting golden youth,
I pray it's not too late,

    Your dreams crushed forgotten,
    Stop speaking without turn,
You're too heavy to start flying,
    Your love has been burned,

    Yes, your stars are lying,
    But why do you care?
    Yes, you can lose,
In your heart you won't share,

    You can't have the world,
    You can't have the fight,
    You can't have the colours,
    You can't have the night,

    You're living way too high,
I'll have to bring you down,
    Back to the atmosphere,
    Unleash the plastic crown.

Eyes of misty grey -- look out upon the sky,
Crimson tears fall -- tattered wings refuse to fly,
Raven rivers flow down across rosy cheeks,
    An aching heart beats through a body gone weak;
..........Following in the shadows of the butterflies.

    Dampened cheeks shiver, with crimson tears gone dry;
And she catches a shadow inside her eye,
Reaching out, she tries her best to gently speak --
    ..........................................Eyes of misty grey.

Fluttering wings mutter a broken lullaby,
As she looks toward a soaring butterfly,
Her wings are shattered on the bank of the creek,
    She tries her best to scream, but her voice is weak;
So she raises her dreams to the stars in the sky --
    ..................................Eyes of misty grey.

    Misty Reflections
    by SecludedSerendipity

The cold frost of newborn January bites my skin,
And with each sharp pain my heart beats within.
    Wrapped up in warmth, from head to toe;
I'm hiding the pain, hiding the pain
...I don't want them to know.

I'm down by the lake, it's a quarter to four.
The memories inside break down to their core.
I remember the beginning, how perfect it was.
I could not see then, I could not see
...How filled it was of flaws.

I stare into the water, like we did last year,
The reflection I still see, every word I still hear.
    Yet it's become a little misty, covered with time;
I must accept it, I just must accept:
    ...You are no longer mine.
