Ok, I have posted this in the club; however, I want to know from others outside of the club as well...

What poems would you all like to see more of.

Would it be more structured poems?

More poems about a certain subject?

I wanna know what you think....

    Thanks.

Good racehorses are only good for two things: Racing and breeding.

I love thoroughbreds, but with the money I have in my bank, I could buy about 10 fresh off the track. If I wanted to buy a triple crown winner, I'd just be the owner...I'm too big to be a jockey, and I wanna ride. So there. A Fresian colt, they're expensive horses and absolutely gorgeous.

    Bob, shush, will ya?

YOU are spelling it correctly, I'm not, hahaha.

Sorry Sherry, this is what I meant:

I want to read more poems about giving me a Friesian.

Bob, exactly why I said colt. The youngin's sell for much less than the mature Friesians. Normally because Friesians are used primarily for Dressage competition, which is a money 'sport.' If you catch a nice Friesian before it's trained, the price is reasonable. I would like to do the training anyway. It's not really about money-making, haha. I want a horse that I can look sexy on. I've been told I would look sexy on a Friesian.

Ah ha ha....Jane riding me with a reign! Ridiculous.

    Surely she would be bareback?

Ugh....who made this thread into a carry on film?

I want to see more "life/society" poems, and good ones, because every good poet writes their time, and right now our focus should not be on ourselves, but on the larger world and our global connections.

Kevin - I wrote one in The Club... I couldn't do it here cause it has a few swear words in it... its about my lovely 3 hour ride to work today squashed up undernearth some guy's armpit while the tube workers strike... for the week... Im a little bit peeved at it... But I guess its a poem about society.

Oooo I like I like... but what is that about sex being in a beak?

Oh man thats terrible. What was that movie where it was illegal for them to exchange bodily fluids and they all had sex using virtual reality goggles... had Bruce Willis in it...? Anyway - he SHOWED THEM!

Its funny how everyone always paints the future to be this bleak and terrible place to be... I really hope my optimistic (yet slowly becoming more of a realistic) nature is right in thinking we clean up our acts a bit and rebel against the squashing of our morals and environmental impact... *sigh*

Abby, I am oh so happy.

"I would like...to enter a thread that doesn't conclude with discussion of horses and their semen."
    ^ I wouldn't worry about that ;)

The film was "Demolition Man" and it was Sylvester Stallone and Sandra Bullock who used the head devices to get it on.

    The old way is better.

Demolition Man... Yeah Kevin's right as per usual. Kevin... do you WRITE the internet? If not, you should.

And yes... the old way is hella better!

I would like to see more poems with powerful words, words that can impact on lives. Poems outside the norm that can be an encouragement to someone who feels life's not worth living anymore.
