Im a 14 year old girl an these days beauty is everything an i no people say its not just about the face an body but to all the teens today it is!!!

i seriously do not no what to do im being told by o many people im stunning an stuff but i feel so ugly becoz iv also been told i was ugly for like 7years, i duno what to do its realli getting to me...

Even women who are considered the most beautiful, have flaws, no one and nothing is flawless. The longer you let others views (including media views) run your life and set your self image, you will not be happy. No one can give you self esteem.

You want to know my honest thoughts. Read my icon "There is beauty in all imperfects." The thing is you have to grow and find them out for yourself... It just takes time. There are more thngs important in life then beauty.. but it has taken me a long time to figure out... but I hopw that you understand my rabbling... lol =)

There are always going to be people who judge you and have their personal preferences, it is not about other people accepting you, it is about you excepting yourself.

i recently moved skwls and where i moved to there is so many broken lives so many kids using drugs from being abused!!

You don't have to change, you don't have to be anyone but you. Instead of hating yourself, hate the problem and get involved, better to be a voice than a statistic. Too many of my younger family members have no ambition and they lay around waiting for the world to be handed to them and to lift them up, but you have to lift yourself up and get involved. Nothing worth doing is easy.

I no i have ambitions im 14 an i new what i wanted to be since i was 11 ( a lawyer )

You hate yourself more each day because you allow yourself to be taken in by other peoples opinion of perfect. No one is perfect and no one ever will be, we all have our own flaws. Until you let go of what others think you will feel this way. As a girl who used to loath herself, the only one who can change the way you feel about yourself is you. If you want to, you will. Believe me pitying yourself wont get you there.

I can't tell you how to magically start loving yourself, only you know what makes you feel good. Living up to someone elses expectations will never do that for you, you have to set your own expectations. If everyone conformed to media views we would all be alot worse of then we are now. I had to block out negative people and start doing things for myself. Set goals, live life, have dreams, what are you getting out of hating yourself?
