See my husband died over at war and he has a little girl named Emily and a little boy named Brenden and see i have been with him since i was 17 and his little girl at the time was only 3 months on. i mean it's just that i love them kids to death and i'm only 19 and honestly i just want to know am i doing the wright thing? i mean we was married and i have been in his life for a long time but still i don't know if i'm doin wright with the kids..please help me!!!!! |

Yes you can be a great mother at 19 it just depends on if you can support them and yourself... and i'm sorry for you loss... |

Age does not matter when it comes to parenting honey my man has a 3 year old and i take care of her and im only 19 |

You maybe young and although you have no kids of your own i don't see why you cant love them and be a motherly figure to them |

Of couse you can be a great mom at 19 just thank about the kids as if they were your own an always put them befor any thing else thats all it takes to be a great mom in the first plase I wish you best of luck |

What do you think? ...You got married to this man. You knew he had kids. When you got married to him you, basically, assured him that if something happened to him you'd take care of them (that is if the children's birth mother weren't in the picture & wasn't given custody of the kids when he passed). Besides, you are practically their mother since you got married to their father & have been helping him to raise them (I assume). You must be old enough to be able to take care of them if you had married your husband (at whatever age), raised his kids, etc. |
