Death metal...worth while music, or just noise?

The title is self explanitory. I'd like to hear your views.

nope they still scare me...LOL they are an awsome band if you love them...teehee but I never really listened to their music....so everytime i hear it....it SCARES me. I dont mean little scares me...I mean i have to change the song or chanel...scares me...lol

Surely no musical genre is bad by default? Isn't it down to the quality of the individual bands that play inside each style?
