Nelson Mandela quote

I'm curious to know what everyone thinks about this quote...

Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate,
but that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
    gorgeous, handsome, talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.
It is not just in some; it is in everyone.

And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give
other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear,
    our presence automatically liberates others.

. Some believe mumbo jumbo is a translation of the Swahilii greeting "Mambo Jambo".
A non bais critic would not use this term the way the white supremist do.

The above quote has been noted by many as one of the finest from the Nobel prize winner Nelson Mandela

A lot can be said about common sense
Nelson Mandela is speaking from a mystical perception.

    Go Coach Carter!
...plz tell me you got that.

    ok back to reality.
    Sluvious,
there is a line between imposing your beliefs, and just expressing them, I'm sure you're quite familiar with it as we all are.
Nelson here, did not cross that line, he's just expressing his beliefs.

    stop hatin' bruh.

^hate to disagree Mike, but he was speaking from a spiritual perception. Surely that wasn't hard to grasp

What he said was not that hard for me to grasp, but I know that you are aware that many people have difficulty grasping spirituality. You don't have to be a mystic to be aware of natural fears. As you say there are many that would believe fear of the Lord or fear of the separation from our divine nature is mumbo jumbo. I don't believe that everyone understands how powerful unity and spirituality can be.
