Planting Roots

There is a time,
When thoughts decay.
When caring words,
Don't seem to stay.

The days grow old.
The skies turn bleak.
Panic mounts,
As we grow weak.

There is not one,
Great, shining star,
To polish strings,
On heaven's guitar.

The blades of grass,
That grace the ground,
Are simply bare,
And can't be found.

The waters cease,
To burst and bubble.
Only making,
Much more trouble.

But sometimes,
There's a magic touch.
It happens when,
Our fingers brush.

Sometimes,
Looking in his eyes,
I see more than,
A bright blue sky.

When he whistles,
I begin to laugh,
And in that moment,
I feel so glad.

Our friendship is,
Our shining star.
It shines the strings,
Of heaven's guitar.

He grows on me,
Without a change.
I also grow,
On him the same.

These days, we're,
Inseperable,
More than two peas,
Or twins at all.

I've grown him with,
A lot of trust,
And he's grown me,
With lots of love.

Twisted and cold,
my empty soul,
my pain... untold,
the tears I hold.

No one will know,
I'll never let it show,
out of control,
it continues to grow.

The screams inside,
the pain I hide,
the tears I've cried,
the lies I've lied.

They cant tell,
cant see that I fell,
that I am unwell,
now living in hell.

My broken heart,
my twisted view,
my empty soul,
all caused by YOU

Coming back to get you now, echoes slowly from her hell.
Intelligence was not enough and exquisiteness her vanity.
Brought to you from a realm of evil, lies the heart so barren cold.

What does she have that we do not?

A road of rainbow jewels lined in silver rods reflecting from her eyes.
Shattered memories that haunt existing moments, never come to her.
She beat him till his death, and watched him slowly die.
With torturous vile deep within, he never told his lie ;
" I love you deep inside, I forgive you sister - - Bye."

Series of events,

Families in destruction,
living to be killed.

Forgery and blackmail
run through every vein.
Tugging at the trigger,
in every single brain.

Waste of Time

No one is the same,
Though you wish the world like you,
Got to let it go,

I started crying,
Long before alone,
I refused to believe,
All I had known.

Never truly real,
Until the words fell from your tongue,
To tear my heart to pieces,
And leave my soul unstrung.

Now there's no going back,

Lost within the shadows,
Where fear and pain collide.

My fear is finding freedom,
But never being free,
Locking myself away,
For fear of what might be.

Time is never on our side,
It's always running out,
The longer that it takes to heal,
The more we're plagued with doubt.

I Want to Be Me

I want to be me.
I want to please you.
How can I do both?
I'm so confused.

It's breaking my heart.
I'm losing myself.
There are two people
But only one shelf.

It's easy to see
One of us must give
Out of our own dreams
Only one can live.

The sky's turning blue.
The rain starts to pour.
Here we go again.
It's just like before.

Neither surrender.
We are just too proud.

The Only Way

It's going to be harder than you think.
No time to wonder about taking another path
If you second guess yourself, you'll sink."

The voices play louder inside of her head
Reminding her it's time to move on.
The choices she made, make her wish she was dead
But this is the way to beat the wrong.

She wants to let her mind wander to his face
And become enraptured by his eyes.
But that kind of thinking's what got her in this place
Above his influence she must rise.

Beyond the storm
Beyond this deep baritone of thunder
(A rumbling voice)
Past the beautiful yet deadly dance
Of sharp forks of silver lightning
(Words so deadly)
Lies an oasis of calm

A rainbow smile radiating warmth
Can be seen beyond the flooding downpour
(Torrential teardrops)
Where the loving light shines from two orbs
Of deepest blue
(Loving gaze)
The colour of Colgate toothpaste

Through the rain, beyond the storm
Lies a beacon of hope, the sun
Blazing in all it's glory
Clouds part, (confusion vanishes)
Revealing a new beginning
(Hope)

Love falls like the rain
Replacing tears with rainbows
(laughter) and sunlight
Beyond the storm, waits a sunny day

You believe in darkness
that there is only pain
people are fake
and eveythings invain.

But why let it be the same,
all of it has remained
with no efforts you complain.

Sitting back and talking
if you want something
different you better start walking.

Going on with a life you

let your opinions fight
with actions as your light.

Its the only way

I'm broken within,
My soul has died.
The tears I shed.
I have to hide.

He said he loved me.
But apparently he lied.
My heart is breaking.
I feel dead inside.

I try to smile.
Act like I'm fine.
But, It's all pretend.

He didn't care at all.
Promises were broke.
Didn't care that he hurt me.
I guess it was all a joke.

I feel so empty.
Like I have no soul.

Oh man, sorry Dear. I`ve been busy and I see that this is ending today. I will try to get them in ASAP. I`ll start working on them now. :]

Fall Back Into Me
[This is the one for the title "She Grows on Me"]

We ran through the dead city streets, holding hands,
And as the sky fell down around us, we trembled,
Afraid of the end that we both knew was coming,
But our vulnerability kept us hanging on to nothing,
For far longer than we should have.
I stood so close to you, I could almost breathe you in,
And I can say with much needed composure now,
That I`ve never tasted something so sweet.
Your heart was beating against mine as you sighed,
Stammering through the howls of the heavy wind,
And you told me your compassion for girls like me,
With a crystal tear veiling over your blue eyes.
I stood in horror as I watched you fade away from me,
Just a shadow now, a mere memory cast away at sea,
As the waves took you down and drifted you away.
And I watched you smile tonight from this pier,
Holding myself weightless against the sailor`s sky,
Strewn out across the shore, I walked alone,
Searching through the light for something I`d never find.
I could swear I seen you standing ahead of me,
Smiling in all the sincerity you could muster up,
But as I ran, I listened to the rhythm of my feet,
Resembling my heart beat so much, racing, racing.
A silhouette: that`s all that you are now, lost in time;
And as I swallow my misery down I build some pride,
Just enough to walk away from the anguish you left,
When you turned around to walk out on me.
We spent the nights breathing, counting our heartbeats,
To see how many we could take before we fell back,
And I got to one and picked up the phone to call you,
Maybe just to hear your voice, maybe for a little more.
But as you talked, something in my head clicked,
And I knew that I was just a replacement while she was gone,
She was laying beside you right then, holding you,
Like I had done for so long, for so long.
And I know that it`s kind of cliche to say this,
But I`ve never felt this way before, it must be love.
And conversations slur through my head as I trace back,
To the beginning, when we stood at the end of the world,
Holding each other for the sake of being held,
Death was so close we could feel it, it was in our hands,
And you looked at me, with your heart in your throat,
As you etched words into my hollow chest,
'I`m sorry, but she grows on me. I can`t do this anymore'.
I haven`t forgotten the feeling when you left me there,
With the sky closing in around me, killing me softly,
And I hold onto this broken hope that you`ll come back,
Someday you`ll fall back into me, fall back into me.
