The Condemned

Is it right or just to judge someone without all the facts? Take this for example; A man kills another man. Now most people see this as murder, but what if he was killed because he threatened to harm or kill the other man or his family. Well now that changes things, people will say he had to do it in self defense. But people these days don't care to find out the details and so condemned people without fully knowing the facts....The question is why?

I don't think you should be jugded without all the facts, it would be good if there was some form of trial by a set of your peers and people had to prove without reasonable doubt that you were guilty. :)
I do honestly think though that killing is nearly always unjust, no one person should have the right to take away another persons. That being said; if someone threatened to kill my family i would definitely want to kill that person. I would, however, expect to go to jail for doing it.

My dad was killed by anouther man it really sucks i don't even know my dad that much i was really little when it happened. but my dad was just with some of his friends and his friends got in a fight with his ex girlfriend's boyfriend and my dad was the one to get killed. and the sucky thing about it the guy who killed my dad only got a few years for it. and thats only because he bought a gun and he wasn't suppose to.

The only ones who really know what happened that night are the ones who were there.....it is sad that one should lose ones life over such simple anger. But as I have said, we just really don't know everything and things that seem cut and dry to us may be but a mere glimpse of what really happened.

Would you all condem someone who comitted suicide?

One of my closest friends from school committed suicide. While we were in school he was getting pretty heavy into marijuana, after we finished school he got onto harder and harder drugs. One night when he was high he electrocuted himself. Now although i do not condemn him, i do think his choice was that of cowardice! He didnt have the testicular fortitude to overcome his problems and addictions.
So although i would not condemn anyone for taking the easy way out of life, i do think its a bit of a cowards way.

Funny.....I was about to ask if and when people would think suicide is ok.....

In my eyes, suicide is never ok. Why waste a life - even for terminally ill, if you know you only havea short amount of time left .. why take it away?
I don't condone any suicide, its just shameful.

    Ahem ..
We only have our own perceptions to base our assumptions on. I'm not sure how your post fits in here.
I don't assume suicide shows cowardice .. in my eyes it definitely shows cowardice. The question was whether we would condemn someone for taking their own life. I wouldn't comdemn them for it, but I would think they were weak.
