Friends + depression =?

Is selfinjuring something people can pick up from others? My friends are happy, yet are going through alot..So because i cut will they start too? And because usauly im depressed will they stop being happy or become not as happy as they were befor they meet me?

They may look at their friends for coping methods, otherwise your friends will choose their own ways to deal. But they might pick up what they see around them.

Ohhh boy. I started cutting about a year ago ... since then, 4 of my friends have done the same. Where did they get the "guts" or the "idea"? It was me. It's horrible living with that guilt. Absolutely horrible. Now, I only talk about cutting on this site, never to my friends.
