Okay, see...Iv'e been talking to this guy on this website, and I think I really like him...he's a great person all around and just the other day he wrote me a poem, an no one has ever done that for me! how special!!! Don't you think thats awesome!?

Hey! That was way nice of him!.. But how can you like someone that you've never met in person?.. Or have you met before?

I know a few people who met on this site. It's great cause poets seem to have an understanding amongst each other.
Whether you guys can turn it into a relationship..I'm not sure. It depends (ofcourse distance doesn't help).
Another thing..in luv with him?..I doubt that part. Infatuation possibly, especially since he wrote you a poem. Don't we girls just love that.

How cute...I agree, things are much different when you meet in person. Its easy to be everything someone wants to be online, but its different when you dont have the time of a computer to rely on.

Yer, that is true. Just make sure you dont get to deep online chances are it will end in pain :( so take things slow and see what you can do about distance etc...

I agree with both sides of the argument. It is sweet that you met someone you could relate to, that he wrote you a poem, and that you believe this mediocre relationship can rise; grow & develop into something more. But I agree more so with those who plainly point out that this is not "love" but more of an infatuation, that you don't even know this guy personally on one of the most important levels; in physical person, you only know him through the internet & you should be older enough to realize or have been told not talk or meet with strangers (this is no different than on the street), etc.

All in all just be careful, like Amanda said (in her many intelligent & smart posts that you should really be taking into consideration).

I agree with Devon, you need to wait until you see him, and if you do ever get together, make sure your in a group. that's the only way that you'll TRULY know if you like him (or love him.) you never know, it's likely that he's not lying about himself, but anything can happen on the internet.

*eyes get big* ermm...thanks guys...I uhh, know where you all are comming from. I also believe everything you've said. I do know all of this already though. I have spoken with my mother about this also... *feels weirdly attacked by others opinions*

I know when someone posts their problems that they will get feedback of all sorts...Thats why I did it...there is no fight about that. It's just a matter of misunderstanding thats all. I relize what I posted was taken the wrong way, and I got everyones opinions about that, and I don't mind that at all, I would have voiced my thoughts as well.

I've noticed alot of people have different opinions on this subject. This is a great thing for me because it helps me look from you'r guys point of veiw. Believe me, right about now, I need that. I need the advice and opinions from you guys...because with these I can protect myself from harms way. I've been where you are. I'd be careful if I were you, because you can't really fall in love with someone you haven't met. You really can't, no matter what people say. Alls it is is blind infatuation.

That statement has some truth, But your right, I wouldn't bet my life on it either. What I'm trying to say is...I found someone I really relate to on here.
