I Need Some Advice!!!!

Okay i am having a problem, I am in love with this guy but he has a girlfriend who is a total witch to him and he wants to break up with her but she tells him that if he dumps her she will kill herself and me and him really like each other and we really want to go out but she keeps using the guilt card what should i do? she hjas broken up with him for a number of stupid reasons and I know she has not been loyal to him so should i wait for him? should i not do anything with him? please can someone help me?!!!!!
