Death

Not too long ago I found out that my cousin was killed in a gang because he was on the wrong territory. I'm having a hard time getting over this because we were close. Does any one have any advice?

That is soooo sad! I hope you feel better, i really do! I dunno what advice to give you, the pain never really goes away but it numbs over time...I hope everyhting goes good for you!

that is really horrible, i don't really have much advice except to just stay strong. i'm sorry you lost someone so close, and yes, when you do lose someone like that their death really feels unrealistic. like as if it's all a lie and they're really still here with you. *hugs*

I agree, don't keep things bottled up inside, talk about them. Also, just remember that good things, the memories, and be sure to always think positive.

Its so sad. i realy can understand your feelings. maybe wiht the time you will be able to get over him. here i want to ask one thing that did u love him? because in some religions int legal we can marry in family.

It happens. Just steer clear of gangs in the future. That is, if you want a future. Nothing is as likely to ruin your life (i.e jail or worse) than a gang.

I can say it still a wasted one. i been into many trouble... use to be with a gang back when i was 15, we been chase by stone and knives. cops and parents.. name it dude.

and in college when i try to stay away from trouble again , past hunted me, my ex bf was screwed up he was rush to the hospital 50/50, thank heavenly that he able to survive it. this is the horrible facts

I kno this may sound weird and i dont know how possible it is where u are at and how old you but try to get involved. where i am gangs are such an issue its ridiculous. theres always a drive by or a shooting or a stabbing and the entire town is tagged up its disgusting. look into and see what you can do about gangs. it would be a good distraction and help take out your frustration. they have all these laws and ordinances around here. now. gang membership is illegal, although it may infringes on rights i would think safety is more important. just hopefully there is a way to get involved. getting involves helps me from being so scared that something will happen to me or hte ones i love and the people i know. cuz the whole gang thing is scarry than anything i have ever experienced.
