In-Laws

I've been with my boyfriend for almost 5 years. This parents loved me...until...I decided to change a couple things about me. I was expressing myself through appearance. So, I dyed my hair, cut it, etc. Sense then, they HATE ME! To them, I'm weird. Apparently, girls HAVE to have long hair and boy HAVE to have short hair, etc. I've never confronted them of this, but it drives me crazy. Plus, we're getting an apartment, and I've been looking for work like no tomorrow. They say that I haven't got off my ass and looked. They drive me crazy! They find every flaw of me and make everything I do sound like I'm completely mad.

I'm not looking for advise, but I would love to hear your 'In-Law' stories, good or bad. Plus, any crazy things you've said to them!

My boyfriend and I were also in a long term relationship for 3/4 of our 5 year relationship and they did exactly the same!! And you're right, they shouldn't get involved! I heard that 73% of divorces are caused from the in-laws/parents.

I love my in laws!! lol

Considering i spend every day (from nine in the morning to eleven at night, apart from when i'm work) seven days a week at his house, i have to love them, lol

Marcus jokes i get on with them better than him. They are honestly like my second parents. Whenever i have trouble at home, they make me stay with them til it's sorted and they are helping me and Marcus get ready for our own place.

My b/f's parents love me to death...It seems like they love me more than my b/f...lol...j/k...but they do adore me...They tell me all the time (because I am over there a lot) that I am like their second daughter and I am way better than his last g/f and I am going somewhere in my life and they want to see him end up with me in the end...and even though I havn't met his sister I've talked to her on the phone, she says she really likes me too and I seem like a good person for her brother to be going out with.

Did you know that 67% or 73% (one of them) of relationships/marriages split because of the in-laws or parents.

I might of said that before, but I thought I'd say it again.

I went to my inlaws yesterday and had a fabulous time. I think they might start liking me again.
