Beauty of his eyes (my favorite)

    So beautiful was my sunrise
the dusty color of your eyes
but soon they turned to shards of glass
    misery in their melodious laugh
why do I now feel betrayed?

Fallen i have on the side of the street
the bubbles of blood for each heartbeat
    iridescent rainbows floating high
I can only yearn for the sky
even my wings leave me behind

My mouth nothing but a whispered thought
laughter is forgotten as well as for what I fought
from this battle there has been no gain
oh why does it hurt, this pain?
I thought love was like a song

Why can't I hear the call of birds?
the only relief from your words
like a harsh wind in the silence
how can you hurt me without violence?
    a puppet on a string

A neverending fence of barbed wire
surrounds me, burning red with fire
I've trapped myself in my own mind
or was it you? memory I cannot find
all I know is that I cry

    Insanity of broken smiles
the bliss of darkness for awhile
eternal game of hide and seek
please don't find me, do not peek
I hide in my own shadow

A flowing beauty of dark brown
in your eyes only I can drown
my tortured mind immune to lies
    how beautiful is my sunrise
a dark hole in the sky

    My Favorite:

    Close To The Flame

    I hurt too feel,
    And feel too scream,
    Open my mind,
    To the darkness of dream.

    Flames start to flicker,
    And kiss at my skin,
    Igniting a fire,
    That burns me within.

    I'm lost to the madness,
    Embracing the flow,
    The pleasure you feed me,
    Is all that I know.

    Devour me softly,
    Suffer with want,
    For all that I am,
    Is all that you taunt.

    My burning desire,
    Fast beating heart,
    My long starving soul,
    Indeed every part.

    I lustfully slumber,
    Without any shame,
    Far from the real world,
    Close to the flame.

    Master of Dreams

I close my eyes you come to me,
    Drifting through the mist,
The only place I've come to find,
    You're able to exist.

I search the faces in the crowd,
    Which pass me everyday,
The warmth I find within your eyes,
    No one can portray.

A living dream inside my mind,
I pray for sleep each night,
To take me from this vacant world,
And lay me in your sight.

My sacrifice for dear, sweet love,
    To sleep the years away,
    Wrapped inside your tender arms,
    Where lonely cannot stay.

No loneliness could touch a heart,
    That lays within your hand,
The weaver of such sweet desire,
    Your soul, the promise land.

So mold my dreams and don't let go,
    Love draped in velvet mist,
    You're everything I've ever known,
    I never could resist.

    Phantom's Dance

If a picture paints a thousand words,
    Reality screams a million,
And if I've cried a thousand tears,
    I'll probably cry a billion.

The sweet caress of ghostly thoughts,
    Dance through poisoned minds,
    Drifting back into the past,
    As time slowly rewinds.

Soft melodies now fill the air,
    Your heart begins to dance,
Upon the memories of your life,
    Lost to luck and chance.

All you touched but did not want,
    All you had but killed,
All you tore down brick by brick,
And all that you did build.

In every crevasse of your head,
    Life is surely hiding,
It is a dance you've come to loath, yet love,
    It's so dividing.

Deep in death I've come to see,
It all meant so much more,
    I took for granted everything,
    I ever did adore.

    Violin Strings Of Sorrow
    by SlaveToTheMusic

The darkest of all violin stings,
    Etched upon a souls depth,
    Words echo throughout time,
    As cries collapse sweet lungs.

    Melodic tunes hold no beauty,
    Guitar strings suddenly fray
    Piano keys lose all sound,
As distant weeps begin to wake.

    Lost throughout eerie mist,
A shadow falls to the ground,
    Trapped within delicate eyes,
    A child drowned in song.

    Demonic Frailty

    by My Decadent

I could drown into the deep sea of her eyes,
And enchanted by her sweet voice of sorrow
I could just close my feeble heart of cries
Only to open it again upon the dawn of tomorrow.
    ...
    ..
    .
For a black heart will only find beauty in darkness
    Where the shadows of death may lie;
For under the cold breath of sickness
    Only the weak shall die.

For the silent cries of the purest heart
    Will only fall upon putrid skin;
For a love so strong can't be torn apart -
You aren't weak if you don't give in.
    .
    ..
    ...
    I could stand here all day mezmerized by thee;
Infatuated by the sheer bliss of your presence,
Hidden beneath thy wings protecting me
As I fade into the void of calming silence.

My love, come! And let us reign upon this land!
If our souls and hearts are sown together
No god, nor devil would ever dare stand
In front of our love - not now, not ever!
    ...
    ..
    .
For a black heart is said to be evil and cruel,
But oh, how ignorant this is!
For under the coldness of this ashen ghoul
Is but a great desire for your kiss.

For a demon is said to feel nothing at all -
Never love; Never care; Never cry.
For a monster such as I is bound to enthrall
Only the weak which desire to die.
    .
    ..
    ...
The world can't understand what truly lies within
    This demon shedding tears upon a face so pale;
They'll never know that my only true sin
Is loving you so much that it makes me frail...

    With love,
    Your Decadent.

    Master of Dreams

Like a puppet, swinging in a forgotten wind
my head nodding to his every word
you might say it's obsession, but it's not
    my eyes are merely hypnotized
with every move of his blood-red tongue
the shadows that spill from his being.

    Watching each and every movement
I reach out to touch his blackened face
my hands instantly burned by the ice
    it was just his reflection
I feel a puff of air on my cheek
he had been standing behind me.

    He laughs giddily at me
spinning me around on the hardened floor of winter
his face changing with each step
a god, then a monster, now him again
his hands branding themselves into my skin
like a fire, wild and untamed.

I can hear whispers, voices coming from the depths
he grins at me again, his face a skeleton mask
an army of the dead rises from his feet
    crawling towards me, chasing me
I cannot run from beings that are faster than light
they scratch me with their rotting fingers.

    Blood oozing down my body
his ecstatic expression to much to bear
one snap of his fingers and everything is gone
the pain, the skeletons, all dissappeared.
Now butterflies, fluttering around my head
torn wings bright with fragrant blood.

The intoxicating aroma just another temptation
yet nothing compared to his smile
as I try to utter one word, one syllable
    his lips stopping my breath
my eyes flying open in shock at the taste
like the glistening salt of death.

His face once again a hollow mask,
as his sun cursed eyes stare into mine
a shiver running through my very soul
the monster he is wrapping around my mind
he tampers with my thoughts, my words
    the master of my dreams.

    Master Of Dreams
    by SlaveToTheMusic

Wisp throughout air, transparency of silhouette dreams,
For your only fear shall be entwined within inner webs,
Follow the melody of a thousand sirens haunted screams,
Stumble, if you dare, as you'll be fixed to where it gleams,
Though beware, If captured one will be bounded for eternity.

Purple butterfly's they prance, within the feathers of illusion,
Do not be fooled, as they also want you captive in the eye,
Plant seeds into the thoughts of the mind playing delusion,
Attack ones sweet sanity, as they sleep in such confusion,
Yet watch for dream catchers for they don't want you alive.

Follow my orders without question, For nothing is what it seems,
As I conduct my transparent army, For I am the master of dreams.

    Lies of Lords

A whisper, softly carressing my skin
    fascination with the words within
like falling rain, into my head
    the words so beautiful
as if I could use them to live

They dance, like the way birds must do
flying in the air, around and through
twisting and turning, an impossible feat
branding their flight into my heart
    burning me with their words

I know that each and every word is a lie
but I long to believe each and every cry
as they spin the words and weave
like the slurring of a burning fire
bringing my own thoughts into the flames

The lords grin at me, so beautifully
reaching out their arms, a silent plea
against my will, my hands reach back
    bringing me into burning insanity
the oblivion of my own gorgeous lies

    My favorite one:

    Quiet fiction

    by NyellMoonlight

    Replay it, all over again, your fake honesty;
amount of butterflies died in front of my eyes.
Share it with me, misdirected sympathy
in this shattered moment of broken lies.

    Aftermath, oh, all minor conclusions,
    through the lands of tomorrows illusive and pail;
Thoughts behind the faces, I can't recall all names...
Don't look at me, casting the shame.

Acrobats in the heart leave me speechless,
    to find a cure for extended bitterness;
    theories connected with entwined sighs
were shaped like skeletons and dragon- flies.

My screams are polite, highlighting contradictions.
    Ultimate search for magic formula ends now;
I'm mixing potions with words and blood,
creating this dawn of quiet fiction.

    Master of dreams

Resign ember in my unholy soul, while whispers
design facades in the heart. Representing baroque
visions, my aura lingers between lavender realms.
Keep on dreaming, impulses combust limbos.

Acid entices fictive fascinations, pouring on the skin,
    ravishing hallucinations drench above sacred burden;
heavy hourglasses mystify omens in the sight...
Keep on dreaming, impulses combust damnation.

Master of dreams steeled a crown from the luminous
    God's head; he's here for the last confession;
Clones freeze the time in this maledicted parade-
Keep on dreaming, impulses combust mortality.

    self- destruct, inner voice, cryptic tone;

Focus on farewells and bitter disdain,
bury all crusades of destructive hesitation,
mourn over clouds, while angels entertain
the devil begins his sombre transformation.

Canyons are fading between midnight tunes
    self- destruct, pale limelight dragoon
dig out bloody axe, jump over the moon

    Master of dreams

My heart withered upon suppressed fear,
you're the owner of my soul in bed.
The cold breath of your voice is so near,
feeding on the mania in my head.

    My emotion is dying, dying,
    dead.

    Phantom silhouette glides towards me,
attached in a memory of a wake.
You arrived to dwell in heresy,
to burn what is already at stake.

    My delusion is bending, bending,
    break.

Whispered anguish lingers in the night,
breaking silence of a desperate hate.
Enough of taunting my fallen pride,
I need a solace savior instead.

    My salvation is flying, flying,
    fade.

Master of dreams, I sculpt my own nightmares,
and I hold my key to reality.

Master of dreams, your proud throne all forlorn,
    your domination is grinding, grinding,
    gone.

    Favorite poem.

    Midnight breath

The words trapped in my eyes,
if only you could read my pain.
    My hope burns with you,
my heart drowns in the rain.

    Your eyes hauntingly beautiful,
like the moon weeping in the skies.
    I can't paint a picture of you,
    without sorrow in my eyes.

I see you in my shadow,
    you reside in my tears.
You carved a fear in my soul,
    you poisoned my memories.

At night I wait to dream,
    lie patiently in the dark.
    Sacrifice a thousand suns,
I don't want to wake up.

    Tonight, I'll say goodbye,
    embrace the arrival of death.
    Sink in the static nightmare,
    I hold my midnight breath.

    -----------------------------------------------

    Imaginary world

I lie aimlessly in my head,
    impeding the rampant of reality.
I let my abundant fears slowly fade,
impaling the cold heart of tragedy.

Gazing at what I silently scrutinize,
you calmly questioned my mind's autopsy.
Just watch my secret smile and hopeful eyes,
    falling in abyss of serenity.

Somewhere I can find joy in solitude,
and dance to the Celeste song of the wind.
Somewhere I can heal the scars in my soul,
and forget all the sorrow I have seen.

No one will unlock my confined sanctuary,
forsaking me like a stray infernal.
    Amending this life of perjury,
I'm safe in my imaginary world.

    O1.

(Sorry its so long) Titled Poem:

    Bloody Deal

Passionate kisses upon a dying man.
The light is fading from his eyes.
Air barely escaping his parted lips.
Crimson blood around where he lies.

Staring at his face, she's holding his hand.
With a last gasp for air, he struggles.
"Baby I love you." His words rush out.
Sitting next to his corpse, she trembles

Body numb she sits there for hours.
A shadow lingers watching her, scheming.
It clicks its tongue inside of its mouth,
Her heartbeat in her head is pounding.

Approaching her it settles behind her.
"My dear, sitting here won't bring him back."
Startled by the noise, she spins around
Snapping it's fingers, her world goes black.

Waking upon a cold stone floor,
    She scrambles toward the light.
In a chamber, she sees him on a throne.
"Welcome darling, glad you woke up."

The Devil flashes his white pointed teeth,
Danger reeks from his dark form..
Sneering at him she spits at his feet.
The mood in the room suddenly transforms.

Lightning crackles, pain sears her being.
She's blown to the floor, writhing in agony.
The pain subsides, she's covered in her blood
"Oh, my dear, you are quite messy."

Raising his nose in disgust he tells her
"Come my dear and join me here."
Gesturing beside him, her 'mess' cleaned.
A chair appears before him, "Sit.. please."

Giving him a hateful look she doesn't move.
Smiling crookedly, in a flash he stands before her.
"Darling you need to learn some respect."
Face to face, in the light his red eyes glitter.

"You want your love to come back or not?"
Hope and joy fill her soul, "Yes I do."
Grinning malevolently he grabs her wrist.
"You'll do anything to get him back?"

    "Anything. Anything you want."
Eying her up and down, he chuckles.
"So its a deal then?" He holds out his hand.
She grasps his hand, her knees buckle

Shrieking in agony, her insides squirm.
He's stealing her soul, best thing about evil.
Blank eyes stare out of her lifeless body.
Looking at it the Devil starts to giggle.

Her soul is screaming inside his head.
Calling forth another body, empty as hers.
    It's beautiful, sculptured to perfection.
Placing her spirit inside it, she gasps for air.

Staring at her hands she starts to tremble.
Hauling her into the Room the Dead
He summons forth her love's spirit.
He appears staring at his new love...

The Devil glances at her and then him
He turns on his heel and leave the room
"Five minutes love birds, make it quick."
Drifting toward her asks "What did you do?"

Explaining to him what had happened.
"I didn't know that it would end like this..."
The Devil comes, her lovers body at hand.
"And now for the sweet goodbye kiss."

Restoring the spirit into his body,
The lovers embrace and then gently
They kiss for the very last time,
"I love you too baby, I'm so sorry."

With those last words, he disappears.
"Come on Darling, its me and you now."
The Devil chuckles, this all took no effort
Not a bead of sweat upon his brow.

Grasping her by the waist, she whispers:
"I cannot believe that this is real..."
And this all happened just because:
She and the Devil made a Bloody Deal.

    My Favorite Poem:

    The White Dot

I am just a single white dot
And my heart and soul scream.
I shout at all the beautiful colors
But no one seems to see me.

What did I do to become... this.
I wish I were blue, but I'm not
Or the hottest red, or light pink?
But I'm just a single white dot.

I try to be perfect, still no cigar.
    Ignored, alone, I'm so sad.
    Why didn't anyone tell me
That being white was so bad?

    I am invisible to everyone
    Who would have thought
That it all would be like this.
I am just a stupid white dot.

Falling into the swirl of beauty
    I lay there hopeless, trembling
    Wishing for more than white.
    "Please someone just see me..."

Despair hits me between the eyes.
In the middle, I am here to rot.
I am nothing more than just me.
Simply: a single tiny white dot.

Near the colors I start to fade
    My senses begin to drawback
    "I'm sorry, I can't be more."
The White falls into the black.

    Unique Poem:

    Master of My Dreams

In my mind, in my thoughts,
    They haunt me everywhere.
No matter how far I try to go,
    They happen to be there.

    Behind all my flashy smiles,
I put on this silly charade.
    The real me cries behind
    This person I've portrayed.

    Sweet silence, what is it?
    Whispers fill my dark mind.
There's no free space for me.
In the corners I am confined.

    My pathetic life is busting
    At its delicate little seams.

    Painted Power Of Lullabies
    by SlaveToTheMusic

Painted power of lullabies line graffitied walls of suburban streets,
While Gun shots shall be heard echoing through a child's scream,
Bitter life of urban society, Will trap all within the hour of lead,
As white chalk outlines the gravel for another innocent man is dead,
White roses stand astray colored within the murderous red and blue.

A tag with gleaming crown, who knew such symbol predicted death,
Walk away crying faces, for your labeled "Thug" shall rest in peace,
Melody's drenched in vodka, to take claimed hole in the heart away,
Though who are you to reminisce for it is you who lived another day.
As the painted power of lullabies sing upon this dead mans street.

I'm working on it, but I'm having a terrible time writing poems, let alone with the title "Faceless Gods". So, question: would you absolutely reject a prose piece? I think I'd do better in that style of writing anyways.

Let me know asap and I'll get it in after that.

    Thanks for understanding.

    Master of Dreams
    By My Decadent

Once this heart was a heart of a million dreams,
    Now it's lost in this world where nothing is what it seems;
And in this heart the truth has broken into shards of lies
And this face has veiled itself with this mask that you despise.

Once I dreamt in colour of happiness and poise,
    Now I drown in nightmares of this afflicting noise;
And those dreams meant something, had a purpose,
But now they are resentful, making me feel hopeless.

Once my nightmares could easily be kept at bay,
    Now I'm vulnerable and frail, buried by the things you say;
And those nightmares could not scare me, break me down,
But now your words haunt me and even in my sleep I frown.

Once this heart was a master of dreams and hope
    Now it's buried in the words with which I cannot cope;
And this heart now breeds nightmares and fears
And keeps me jaded throughout the passing of years.

    Opera of Sorrow
    By My Decadent

The sudden high notes struck us, leaving us such in awe,
    As she played the piano with perfection, without mortal flaw;
It was as if crystals shattered around us, breaking silence,
Alluring us and grabbing us with her mesmerizing brilliance.

A violin was played so mournful that it filled our eyes with tears,
And out of nowhere this ghastly figure suddenly appears -
A voice... calling for me... entangling itself with my thoughts,
Dissecting my feelings and prying in my most hidden plots.

This amazing voice so divine, reached deep within our hearts,
    Reminding us of our losses, our goodbyes and our departs;
This graceful woman sung with such powerful emotion,
Feeling every note, drowned into the lyrical perdition...

The piano became faint like a swan song dimming before death,
    Like the cry of a fallen angel catching his last breath;
Violins and cellos shed notes of endless sorrow
Reminding of the past, the present, the day of tomorrow...

Silence. A pause we all yearned for - a break from this pain,
    A moment of reflection underneath the gentle pouring of rain;
You could see the silent audience's heads bent down,
Drowned into emotions encased into a frail frown.

The feeling of closure, of an undesirable ending,
Veiled us as the soprano left the stage, fading
Into the dark... but her voice still haunted us within,
Still reminding of the affliction inflicted by our ever sin.

    -Canyon of faded illusions-

Jump over the moon, dig out bloody axe
    self- destruct, inner voice, cryptic tone;
    illusions entwine with silver stone,
    fireplaces and purple candle- wax.

Focus on farewells and bitter disdain,
bury all crusades of destructive hesitation,
mourn over clouds, while angels entertain
the devil begins his somber transformation.

Canyons are fading between midnight tunes
    self- destruct, pale limelight dragoon
dig out bloody axe, jump over the moon
brindle the stars over dreadful lagoon.

Mr. Sandman: The Master of Dreams

The poem is what you see, but if you read the ( ) lines separately, they make a few sentences to go with the poem. You'll see what I mean. ^^
    ------------------------------------------------------------

You spoke of dreams you don't remember, and you didn't even remember your own,
When your hopes board the stars, you'll fly farther than you've ever flown.
    Profoundly within your imagination, you are welcome to pretend;
Trust me, it seems unfair, but there's much more than you'll ever comprehend.
(You are welcome to hold on...)

With a sleepy blue hat and drowsy yellow shoes (so silly it seems),
He'll tempt you with his dreary little smile and dreary little schemes.
Holding them to the ceiling, as you climb thoughtlessly into bed,
Closing your eyes, you go on believing they're yours to hold within your head.
(as you climb into my arms.)

"I can taste your soul," he whispers, louder than he once expected,
"There are dreams in the air, with a cold winter burden, as I suspected."
You know not from where it comes, these trembles through your spine,
Where your hopes are now in the stars, through succession they'll realign.
    (These trembles that we shudder...)

He'll tilt the world with is string of dreams, no farther gone then you are now,
"There's a taste of golden nightmares in the air," he whispers louder than allowed.
Testing closer to a heartbeat, you awake with curiosity and temptation,
It's like awakening from a coma, as your rub your eyes in deep concentration.
    (are testing your heartbeat.)

(As you climb into my arms...)

    A master of dreams, time stands still in silent remembrance every night;
We sleep with the mind that we're still alive, but the farther we slip into delight.
Tempting you with his dreary little smile and dreary little schemes,
Mr. Sandman sneak into your home and he'll visit your dreams.
    (I will visit your dreams.)

Holding On Is What I'd Like To Do, It's Just Not For Me

The air's so clear, I can see your smile through the burning particles -
You can beg me to stay, but the heat is becoming uncomfortable to me.
These gases are burning my throat, and the air is fearfully testing my eyes.
The lamp lights are blinking a little too frighteningly for the first night and the air taste free.

Your lips are almost to mine, closer they lean, but should we shrug away (just encase)?
When my eyes can read the nitrogen in the air surrounding us, and I can no longer breathe -
    These stars are prickling our imagination and they're casting us new beliefs;
You can beg me to stay, but the heat is becoming uncomfortable to me.

I could only hope there lays a lie - I couldn't stand to fall in love -
Something like warmth surrounds my shoulders, but I wasn't sure it was you.
Those elements sparkle like your hands dancing into mine - tricky, but oh so enjoyable,
And I'm frightened by what the blue neons are murmuring, "love is lost and time is few."

If your skin touches mine, I might be okay with it - why don't you try,
Universes away red nova's are bursting just like our hearts are tending to do,
    And the particles are whining as they burn into us, molding us into one;
I wonder if you're still there - by my side, beneath the stars - even though I'm touching you.

All the universe gathers around - perhaps their jealous of our communication
With a morality of being a little less proper and a bit more . . .
You'll have to lean a little closer - I'd kiss your ear and the more you heard,
But I'll melt our particles together with my sweet words.

If you whisper into my ear, with crisp lights between our cheeks, I'll want to shudder closer,
But the light burns brighter to say, "It's too dangerous! Now is your chance to flee."
    The air's so clear, I can see your eyes through the burning particles;
I'll admit, "Holding on is what I'd like to do, but it just isn't for me."

    Faceless Gods

    Nameless entities stroke our conscious beautifully;
We're curious, but the air never tasted so stale.
    Dim lights flicker teasingly at us, asking the time;
We beckon them: "Shoo!", but cliche; to no avail.

Stars shine a bitter bright, (so bitter we taste it for weeks,)
Fearless of universe, they stand still to intimidate.
They long to touch our conscious, yet we still allow it,
(And though it makes no sense) we'll allow it to accelerate.

Though translucent it's still there; a consciousness we often forget,
Faceless and unnamed, they rule our choice to a degree.
Caressing our bodies with curiosity, we request for more,
Such a touch to guess us against our pleasures, we beg to see.

    Nameless entities stroke our conscious beautifully;
We're curious, but the air never tasted so stale.
    Dim lights flicker teasingly at us, asking the time;
We beckon them: "Shoo!", but cliche; to no avail.
