Eep!

Someone told me that they were in love with me yesterday, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to go into another relationship. I've been burned before, and I guess that I'm a little scared.

Plus, on top of that, I'm pretty sure that my close friend has a crush on me, and I'm not sure what to do. I mean, I like him as a friend and I don't want to ruin our friendship if he asks me out.

Relationships are so complicated.

It's hard once you've been hurt over and over again, but you just have to try again. Not all guys are the same... sure they will hurt you because everyone eventually lets us down. Don't force yourself into a realtionship if you're not ready but don't give up completely either. If you only like him as a friend, then let him down gently. Just take your time and do what you feel is right.
