I don`t know about anyone else on here, but I for one, LOVE Disney songs and Disney movies. So, this is a contest for Disney. This round will be song titles, the next round will be a little different. Only 15 will be making it to the next round.

Gem, it is two per person, but one per title..since there are so many titles and I wanted a lot of participation lol. If both poems make it to the next round, you will then do two in the next round as well. You can take another title if you want, but Beauty and the Beast was reserved before you, sorry. :[

I could live a million lives,

Even if my hurt was gone,
It's not something I could do.

You made me smile,
You made me laugh,
In the end you made me cry,
Losing the memories that we made,
Would bleed my river dry.

I came alive and felt so much I thought I'd never know,
You taught me things,
You loved me once,
You helped me learn and grow.

You helped me see the world was mine,
You filled me with desire,
You pulled me out of the hole I fell in,
You lifted my spirit higher.

Somewhere I lost you along the way

It takes too long to figure out,

When my world seems empty,
Cold sets in,
And I feel like I cant love,

I cant take it, my heart is on its knees,
Whenever I close my eyes, your all I see.

No matter what, i just cant think of what to do.

No one saw it coming, not even my broken heart,
Not even after your love and lies tore it apart.

Everyone tells me that I need to just move on,
Wish I could, but nothing is easy since your gone.

Ask myself what I did wrong, what I didn't do right,
Tears still flow, and I cant sleep anymore at night.

My heart is no longer full of love, but is full of hate,
You'll be in my heart, maybe I'll be spared by fate.

One day I'll forget your name, just wait and see,

Beauty And The Beast

The belle, the beauty of the land,
Friends with everyone in the city.
A beast, monster to eyes,
For whom people take pity.

An angel of wonder and nature,
A star brightest, in the sky.
An ogre banished from life,
Inside pleading to cry.

A universe apart, a soul so close,
She follows him to his home.
A comfort she found in an aura around him,
Left her not afraid of going alone.

She enters the building carefully,
As not to disturb this beast.
Her heart guided her to where he was hiding,
His ugliness, his horrid huge teeth.

Taken aback by her presence,
The beast hides behind a mask,
Mask of sorrow and darkness.
Secretly hoping this moment shall last.

Approaching the beauty softly,
A warm smile appears on her face.
Knowing the this is a time,
A very special moment shall take place.

She rubs her hand down his face,
He gets shivers from head to fingertips,
She pulls his head towards hers
And kisses him softly on the lips.

The worlds spin, stars twinkle
A magic shield protects with ease.
Nothing can destroy the tale,
Of this beauty and her 'so called' beast.

Forget About Love, wish I could forget,
Why should I have to feel this, tell me why,
Get on with my life, guess its what I get,
Try to move on, it feels like I don't try.

Hearts weren't meant to break, well tell my heart,

Around me the walls close in, all around
Feel like nothing, nothing is what I feel

The Shadow Sonnet was created by Amera M. Anderson, may be written in any sonnet style. The Shadow takes place at the beginning and ending of each line as the words are identical or homophonic. Since all poetry was originally meant to be sung or recited out loud, homophonic words are acceptable, these are words that sound alike such as see and sea(Rules: 14 lines, 9 or 10 syllables per line.

The moon shines down upon her face --
A tear falls in the pond.
She stares into the her own dead grace;
Memories are not fond.
Torn destiny; upon their fate
She knows it is but all too late.

and she is lost within the state.

The moon shines down upon her face --
She had to look beyond.
Her fingers then began to trace
The smile did respond
Painted Penny; on a grey slate
Colors sat on a silver plate

leaving everything to the fates.

The moon shines down upon her face --
Then there was a diamond,
Entangled in beautiful lace;
She could not correspond.
Sapphire tears; staining her fate
Screaming his name with all her hate.

From these words she starts a new slate.

Trijan Refrain
The Trijan Refrain, created by Jan Turner, consists of three 9-line stanzas, for a total of 27 lines.
Line 1 is the same in all three stanzas, although a variation of the form is not to repeat the same line
at the beginning of each stanza. In other words, the beginning line of each stanza can be different.
The first four syllables of line 5 in each stanza are repeated as the double-refrain for lines 7 and 8.
The Trijan Refrain is a rhyming poem with a set meter and rhyme scheme as follows:

Rhyme scheme: a/b/a/b/c/c/d,d refrain of first 4 words of line five /c
Meter: 8/6/8/6/8/8/4,4 refrain/8

I don`t read poems before I judge, but Terra just looking at yours, I can tell you that you need to add one more line at the end of each stanza. Syllable count of 8. Trijan refrains have 9 lines/stanza.

LOL. Ugh. Always so picky about the dang titles, aren`t ya? Well, JUST because I love you, I will let you lmao. :P

FIXED LOVE!

Zero to Hero

He was a gangster
With a tattoo to show
Where his loyalty lied
For others to know.

He wore a grim face
And a gun by his side
A life of mistakes
By a bandana, hide.

His father, a drunk
His mother, she's dead
And nightmares haunt him
When he goes to bed.

So he walks the streets
Like there's nothing to lose
His school grades are low
What's their to prove?

But one day his a girl
Was walking back home
When another gang member
Caught her alone.

She screamed and she yelled
With all of her might.
He heard her shouting
And was ready to fight.

Her innocent eyes
Were pleading for help
There's was nothing to do
But sacrifice himself.

The gun by her head
Pointed his direction
"Beat it you punk
Or you'll get the attention"

He said to let her go
It just wasn't right
For a some extra cash
That'd be gone the next night.

It was then he could see
His path had been wrong.
And how he'd been weak
Though he thought he was strong.

He told this gangster
That he'd been there too
But this life wasn't good
There's better things to do.

The man just kept shouting
Told him to walk away.
But he wouldn't back down
With this girl in harm's way.

So he kept talking calmly
And the man backed down
He let the girl go
And fell to the ground.

He dropped the gun
It was never loaded
Nothing would have happened
If it exploded.

He said he never meant
To harm her at all
he just needed some cash
And she met that call.

But the determination
In the other man's eyes
To assist this girl
Changed his look on life.

"Why did you help her?
I could have killed you.
By just one bullet
This could all be through."

"I saw how scared she was
And I knew I'd been there
The man with the gun
Who didn't really care.

So I knew it was time
For a change in my life.
And if it meant losing it
At least things would be right."

He went from zero to hero
Changed two people's lives.
Would you do the same
If that chance should arrive?

Slaughtered; In a constant daze,
How the hell did she end up like this?
Nobody noticed, understood
Couldn't read the signs that you missed.

Happiness came, happiness went,
Only now its written to you clear.
An A-B-C structure simple enough?
When sadness drew you went near.

For goodness sake try to visualize,
How she felt when you fought,
You screamed and shouted at each other,
Forgetting the ones that you loved.

Look through my eyes now,
Wheres she gone? Your little girl.
Disappeared through her silence
Your arguing became her world.

Little brother asking for his mummy
Too busy fighting down stairs.
She goes to confront them,
Theres only so much a girl can bare.

That's it enough, time to confront
Them her heart decides,
That angry look dominating her face
Now you look through my eyes.

She screams she shouts she yells,
For gods sake stop acting like this!
Too busy acting like stupid children
To leave fantasy and face what the reality is.

One day you might understand,
The psychological impact it had,
Depression, suicidal, catastrophic,
How quickly a life went from good to bad.

I bet your surprised now however,
For now there are no more cries.
Shes able to stand bigger than you,
Now look through my eyes.

A constant smile is across my face,
I am now grateful for what I get.
True love, a job, a life of smiles
On my past i shall not fret.

Looked so glamorous
As I admired with my eye
