Truly,what is love?

Is there anything more pure and in the same time more sinful than love?An in the end,what is love?Can you love someone without knowing him,only by the way you see him treating others?I cannot understand,what love is,the only thing I know...I'm a little boat in the ocean of his eyes...Just wanted to put ,my thoughts down and listen to what you have to say...(and appear somewhere in this forum:P)

If love was simple, I wouldn't be here...If love was simple people would be free...When you love but are not allowed to touch,when your feelings must stay hidden,then what?For 4 years,I have been imprisoned in this thought...Still not an answer.I just want him to be happy even if I have to suffer.So I let go...And I have found happiness.Though rest,is a thing I find only when I lay eyes on him...

The trick is with the ocean and tidal wave thing....is when that wave comes along...you whip out your love surf board that you've been hiding on your boat and ride that bitch all the way...feel every tiny movement of it...catch the tube...get inside it...you may wipeout...but at least you will have given of your passion as strongly as it was given to you.

Or you can sit in your boat and let love wash all over you and hope you don't drown.

Love is a feeling and lust is a reaction.

Love is what happens to you, and happens to the other person. But, it is the pain you feel in order to birth joy in the other.

I see love in this way...

In its simplest form, love is a lasting (not necessarily permanent, but definitely not momentary) bond of attraction between minds (intellectual), hearts (emotional), bodies (physical--so yes, I include lust as a form of love, especially if the people keep coming together from it), and/or souls (spiritual).

I don't include numbers of each, or genders, because I feel any of the facets of love can be felt toward multiple people, and regardless of gender.

In its most powerful manifestation I feel love includes all facets at once. And when the love comes from the soul (regardless of any other aspects included) it can (and often does) last far beyond the bounds of our mortality.

There. Long, but that's how I answer what is love.

i feel time does tell the story better cause without time we wouldnt know love.but there are two types of love. How do they differ ... puppy love from the true love?...i know the answer but its more of my opinion.

This is my definition of what I personally feel love is truly that is.

what is love?

an age old question no one can really answer. people in love would just describe their feelings, and people hurt by it would be bitter. Nobody really knows in words. Love is more than an emotion, it can become life itself. love takes over you and your thoughts when its true. once you love someone, you never really stop. they may play you and hurt you, but you always feel something for them.

for me its the only thing that maybe you dont need to explain only to live it to feel it to consume you cause maybe when it goes it may never come back
even tho there are its downsides about it like a sin cause maybe the love that you feel you are willing to risk everthing for it and some of the risks include a sin
all i say is dont confuse yourselfs with puppy love and real love cause real love is like being in heaven and thinking about that person all the time
puppy love is what your mind makes up cause your desperate to be in love or other variuos reasons

Your "perfect person" is different at each stage in your life. Therfore, true love can only be defined by what poiny you are at in your life. Anyone can be in true love, it all depends on what your ideal is.
