Cold winters never come,
but summer's almost done.

Island girl of seasons,

Calm the open sea
and lash out to open waters,
continue on creating beauty.

Conflict

It's now four solid weeks of mortars and tanks.
Trees at our back as to fortify our flanks.
Thrown it all at us, we take it all on.
Just separate soldiers, but defending as one.

Back home there'll be drinking, dancing and parties.
Living life to the fullest as their weekend is starting.
For us there's no singing, laughing, no time to relax.
A dangerous enemy awaits our forces collapse.

The platoons broken up at just holding the line,
Defending with honor, like I'm vigilant at mine.
A bombardment of shells while attacking our borders.
Yet steadfast in our mission of fulfilling our orders.

Mounting their forces as day morphs to dusk.
Driving us spare as we prepare to be pushed.
They're forcing our borders with a torturous caution.
We're taking the bait of this awful distortion.

On the enemies approach, with cordite in the air.
There's dismembered bodies and blood everywhere.
What they don't know, what we take delight in,
For us, saturday night is alright for fighting.

Knock on the door of my heart
sing gently to a dragon in me,
pay no attention to mindful puzzles
or broken javelins that bath in steam.

Silent prayer sailed the lips,
kept all promises and oaths sheltered;
orbs of colorful temptation glistened
under silver moonlight where we danced.

Elegant movements heal the soul,
eloquent blues quiet riots,
satin moments painted butterflies over white sheets
expressing devotion with emeralds and rubies.

Don't let the sun go down on me,
glittering shades illuminate crystal roses
shattering the dusk in million scarlet pieces;
hold me in the arms while the starry sky falls.

As your eyes gleam with malicious spite
Tried to understand you countless times
