One thing I've learned...

Never join an animal lovers forum and ask for advice, unless you have a death wish...
Okay, I'm sure their not all like this, but the ones I've visited, the people there are cruel.
I was asking for advice on how to introduce a new dog to one thats already living at the house without causing a fight, that was my first mistake..everyone automatiaclly thought I was a horrible person and should never have even owned a dog in the first place, when I've had several animals all my life and each were treated with loving care...geesh makes me so mad that they can just tear someone they don't even know to pieces and accuse them of things they've never even done, or were going to do.
Sorry about that...okay I'm done ranting, you guys are probaly sick of me by now anyways, lol.

I'm an animal lover to the point that my boyfriend, who does hunt occasionally, made me upset when I found out that he had killed a rabbit that his dad had hit on their last trip. But I would never accuse soembody of animal abuse if they are asking the type of thing you were asking. You're asking for advice on how to prevent a fight between the animals because I assume you are afraid that the older one but get a bit jealous. I see nothing wrong with that.

    Wow...

    That is really clever...

maybe so.. but i learnt that even though my grasp of the english language may be limited...I can say that my knowledge and intellect far outweigh that fact ...And besides this is my third language and I can say that my vocabulary is more richer than yours ...

But thanks again for showing us that your summation is always right... you should be proud...lol

    Exactly, RoadandtheRadio!!
Charlie is a Husky, German sheapord, chow mix (who is exspeially small for his breed) and although he's been friendly to the small dogs we pass by on walks, I'm just worried about how to introduce him to my little Chihuahua Tiny because, as you said, dogs get jealouse and Tiny is already jealouse even of the dogs currently living here, lol. So it would be perfectly logical to ask advice for preventing a fight among the two right?
Instead of giving me advice, the people on the furum just had to tell me how stupid and immature I was for getting Charlie in the first place, and that I should never have even owned a dog in my life because I wasn't "good enough" it was rediculouse...lol, but kind of funny in a way seeing as they kept twisting my words when I said Charlie was going to be living in another part of the house because my mom doesn't want him near her dogs, they tried to make it sound like I was going to keep him in the hallway all his life..O.o...it just didn't make sence.

I totally understand what you're saying.

Animal lovers and animal-rights activists can be difficult to deal with. I'm a vegetarian so I'm very pro-animal but I'm aware of those kinds of people can be.

Animal rights activits are a joke.

Do you ever see people crying out for Crab rights?...No it's selective...and the same pale protesters are gulping down medicines to keep their frail Vegan bodies going that have been tested on rats and mice...

    Hypocrites the lot of them..

    CRAB RIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree, I mean don't get me wrong as a most of you have said, I'm an animal lover as well and don't believe their is anything wrong with animal rights, in fact I, too am vary pro-animal, but some of the PEOPLE who are involved can be real jerks. and if they really cared about their animals like they say they do, you'd think they would have a lot more compassion.
