I'm enaged and i'm almost 19 and i get a lot of flack now so i feel sorry for you. It's almost like you're setting yourself up for a fall.
I wish you luck though. Just don't rush the marriage bit, me and Marcus aren't marrying til 2009. I suggest you wait a lot longer.

I felt the same way as you when I was younger. But trust me, just wait. Getting engaged right now will just look really immature on you. Wait until you're an adult! Right now you are a teenager, like him! Don't rush. Staying steady is okay. It makes you guys stronger. Just because you've been through that (like I have) doesn't mean you're ready for that. Maybe talk about after graduating, moving in together, then get married a couple years down the road! I don't think you guys are seriously thinking realisticly. Financially either!
