He's losing interest

Me and my boyfriend have been dating for about a month and 2 weeks and he told me hes losing interest. I don't want to lose him and everyones telling me to wait it out and I'm not sure how to keep him from losing interest. HELPPPPP!!!

Sounds like a jerk, if he would say that! But then again, I probably wouldn't expect a 14 year old boy to have a good attention span. He probably feels like a month and 2 weeks is -forever-. Anyway, if he had the gall to say that to you, are you sure you're not better off without him? Why waste your time with someone whose attention you (apparently) can't hold? Sounds like you deserve better...

^agreed. Most 14 year old guys don't stay in the same relationship for long. Sure there are a few out there that are different, but for the most part they get bored. Want a change of scenery. See what else is out there for them to have. You deserve better!

Okay well hes 16 just to tell you guys lol
and im going to be 15 really soon so yeah lets just stop with the whole 14 year old stuff but hes really not like that like at all he wants a long relationship and idk i dont really know why hes doing this. his friends just said its a phase wait it out but what if i end up waiting forever.

Me personally, if a guy as the nerve to say that to you, then he prob. does not care about you that much. If he cares then he would want to do nothing to hurt you.

If he's losing interest after only a month and a half, how much interest could he have really had? Maybe it's just cold feet or second thoughts, have you asked him why he thinks he is losing interest? And there's not much difference between 14 & 16, especially in guys lol Sad but true.

But honestly how many people if i wouldve said that he was 16 to start with would have their answers be totally different. when you look at these threads everyone finds out there age before they say anything..

Mate. I don't think this boy is worth crying over. Honestly, if he says he's losing interest - tell him you've already lost interest in him.

Really it's so much better he's telling you now rather than if we kept being with you and cheated on you along the way. This boy has enough respect for you to tell you the truth about how he feels.
In all honestly, I'd rather know the truth that brings a tear, than a lie that brings a smile.
You can wait it out for a few weeks. But if he still doesn't come around, just break it off before you fall in too deep. It will be better for both you guys, especially you.
