Only if you are sure about your feelings for him. whatever you do, don't fool yourself into thinking that you love him if you don't. But if you truly do love him, I would leave that up to you and to him, talk to him about it too. If you both think its ok this young, well, go for it. . .

I totally know how you feel. My boyfriend and I are only sixteen, and have only been going out for 7 months, but we've discussed staying together after school and getting married someday. But right now, it's just talk, because it's too early, and we're too young.

I don't see anything wrong with being engaged, but I'd maybe be engaged for a couple years, or at least until I got out of school. Maybe even once your done school, try living together, and see if that works out. You want to be sure before tying the final knot.

I would say to put it off for a bit. At your age, there's so many exciting things about to happen between graduating and starting your life as an adult. Save this until your settled.

I always seem to be asking people this, but: If you're going to spend the rest of your life with him, then what's the rush? You have years to worry about engagement and marriage.

You know what? I agree with you. There shouldn't be any real rush. There's tons of time.
