It probably means the poem that you are writing doesn't turn out right. Or the first paragraph is not perfect. I don't know. Probably you're stuck.

no poems don't have paragraphs unless it's a certain type. They have stanza's. And yes I have that problem sometimes. It just takes time and maybe you led straight into the subject the first paragraph and didn't lead every one into it so it left you with nothing to say about the main idea. :?
