You've pulled me back into the quagmire of debate, debacle and desensitization.

It's good to be back. I may even write something this week.

Life, as some may say, is grand, mate.

I am now in the States of all places. Beth and I have been married over a year, we've bought a house and we're thinking about kids.

I have a decent job at the NBC station up the road, no illness for nearly three years and two cats, Attila and Trev.

Florida is good to me (barring the recent bout of red tide inspired pneumonia) the sunsets are inspiring and despite there is a small town feel to the place the extra space America has over England takes a long time adjusting. Despite the fact that Americans have no spatial awareness on the roads (perhaps due to all that extra space and uber wide roads) I have only been hit by another car once and they were illegals. No harm no foul.

I'll think of more later but I'm now thinking of a poem contrasting the cultural differences my old and new homes share.

Good to read you again Bret, if I may ask, where in Florida are you? I'm in Ft Lauderdale and for the life of me can't think where there's an NBC station, lol.

Aaaaahhhh so you're near the Alabama border then? You are way north of me and on a different time zone as well :) Isn't it odd to be in the same state yet a different time, lol.
