What is Taret and is it evil?

Hi just wondering what is a taret reader someone told me it was evil n another one told me its like a fortune teller and really i have no idea can u also tell me if u use taret.

Well it is all a matter of opinion about it being 'evil', i personally don't believe in it, but i've done it cause my friend and her mum do it, but just for fun. it's actually called tarot i think, not sure. but in lamens terms it's just a pack of cards with pictures on them and you choose cards and they get layed out and they are supposed to predict your future. it can be dangerous though when people read too heavily into it.

"it can be dangerous though when people read to heavily into it." <-- true. i once did a tarot reading for a friend, and she became hysterical when the death card appeared. she was convinced she was going to die, and it took me ages to convince her that the card actually symbolized new beginnings and rebirth, not death itself. no, tarot isn't evil, it's simply another way of fortune telling.
