Mommy's Boy

Does anyone have a boyfriend who is always 'mommy, mommy'. You know? Always wanting to see their mom, talk to their mom every night, sorta like Ross off of 'Friends'.

Do you tell them they are? Any ways of getting them to see how they are?

I actually did date 2 guys that were mommy's boys. They're not all that bad, but they can be.

Why?

Well. i dated 1 and he was okay. but it was only cuz his parents were disvorced..

I've heard a guy who treats his mother good will treat all women good. They have more respect for us. I don't see it as a bad thing..

As long as it doesnt intefere with your relationship.. idk, ive never dated one, but ive seen my mom date more than one, and it drives her crazy.

although i HAVE dealt with crazy moms. more than one boyfriend's mom screamed at me for no reason while i stood in shock... the was usually followed by the guy grabbing me and stormng out of the house.. phew, im glad my boyfriend's mom likes me!!

Depends really but i have a cousin who is a mommys girl due to her medical condition like she is allergic to lots of things n she has experiences of nearly dieing. Does his mum get along with u at all? or it could be the bf maybe i dont want to sound mean but would u think he could be avoiding u by seing his mum too much.

I think my boyfriend is a mommy's boy. All my family and friends see it. It drives me crazy. If she asked him to jump, he'd ask how high.

His mom doesn't like me for reasons unknown to me. She acts all nice to me, but the second I'm gone she bad mouths me, finds things to get my boyfriend mad at me. It doesn't work...anymore....but I wish it would stop. She has him wrapped around her little finger and I just wish he could be his own man without his mothers approval.

I just think he goes through phases of being, 'mommy's boy'

Don't worry about the mom to hate you. I think that will happen with any guy you date. They always think if you're good enough for him and they act like they don't like you. I've passed through that phase in my life. So it happens to every girl out there with their man's mom. So I tell you, don't worry about it. It will be over soon.

I have the same problem only i dont talk to my bfs parents any more because of them bad mouthing me so if u want my advice dont even talk or look at his parents have nothing to do with them thats what i am doing n im not being hurt that way. I know the mother is trying little things to hurt you while your bf isnt around or saying things that are jokes n really there not. The mother is a bitch just shut her out n dont forgive her.

Oh my gosh; Friday I had dinner with the In-Laws and the mother didn't look at me once for the first hour. It was tough! I felt like dieing right there!
