Bible Verses

Hey guys!! here we can post any bible verses that have helped you get through tough times in life or have given you inspiration.. i am going through some tough times and want to see what ones you guys can give me for an uplift.. i will post some of my favorites..

Have i not commanded you be strong and couragious, do not be terrified, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you, where ever you go

i really like the whole chapter of Psalm 91 but this is my favorite part!

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven." Ecclesiastes 3, I think. Also, the whole fifth chapter of Romans, if I'm remembering right.

I have favorites for every situation.. lol...

but I will narrow it down, to 2.

Psalm 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints"

I heard this at so many funerals growing up and I never got it until my freshman year at college... I was so homesick. When I went home for the first time at Thanksgiving, only having been gone for 3 months, it was just so wonderful to see my best friend and my family. And if it was that "precious" to me... how much more precious must it be to God to welcome His children home after He's let them live their life.

Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

These verses help me through anything. they make me realize that if I can't get anything else out of a trial or test I'm going through, I can at least get the strength and experience to help someone down the road that may be in the same situation.

I used to study the bible as a child, and I found this really funny...
