Snow upon thy tender bloom
Go quietly to thy rest
Know sweet lullabies unsung
Grow still within my breast

Care the thoughtful gardener
Shares tears within the pail

***A Lento consists of two quatrains with a fixed rhyme scheme of abcb, defe as the second
and forth lines of each stanza must rhyme. To take it a step further, but not required, try
rhyming the first and third lines as well as the second and forth lines of each stanza in this
rhyming pattern: abab, cdcd. The fun part of this poem is thrown in here as all the FIRST
words of each verse should rhyme.

Who are we?
Unlimited force of rain precipitates
on this momentous question;
... reading thy mind,
wondering, searching...

Where are we?
... scratching the walls;
the sound travels...
meaningless flaws cloud the vision;
(dance with me in the rain
just to celebrate imperfections)

Why are we
drinking wine instead of a blood?
Lust blinds us endlessly;
vibrating pleasure invades spirits
far beyond common senses.
Untamed glistens of allurements
play scarlet requiems for us, again.

We'll die together once more.

Peacefully, oh how peacefully flew my tears
down the pale cheeks, with crystallized reflections.
Weak, oh how weak I was again,
beyond repair, lost amongst illusive footsteps.

Follow me home, where the rainbows mirror
my teary eyes; where butterflies sing.
Help me rise, with the hands of divine ideals
etched with the finest violet lines.

Painfully, oh how painfully beat the heart
placed in thy palms for shattered eternity.
Frozen, oh how frozen was my spirit
mantled with frail mesh of soulless agony.

Follow me home, where the roses and swords
elegantly entwine; where the blizzards are purple.
Help me rise, with the hands of ideal divinity

A deeper level of trust is needed
in this third world war.

We're playing games of
dyed hair and make-up
that's way too thick to see the truth.

It's hidden from the world;
it's all just facades.
But, how off does that seem?
The tears that fall aren't real,
just as the pain we all pretend to feel .

It's as if it's never enough to love
the one you love. Or need the one
person that you'll forever need.
It's just jumbled, swift movements -
moving extremely way too fast.

And, in some time and place
when this all finally ends-
I'll look past the rubble,
look past the fires,-
To see within your eyes the
reason that I was once mended by you.

But, that time's way too far away.
It seems as if I'll have to wait
another time - another place.
For, a deeper level of trust is
needed in this third world war

Always feel blue
Used to people leaving
Life filled with such melancholy
Obstacle after obstacle is thrown
Strength draining every single day
Hurt time and time again

Rictametre-Consists of 9 lines, syllables going 2-4-6-8-10-8-6-4-2. Line 1 and 9 are the same.

Darling accept it's not going to happen
So stop begging me to come home
Now realizing you're no good for me
You deserve to always be alone

Found someone so much better
Treats me like his very own princess
You don't want to know but I love him
He captured my heart, I must confess

You're the one who broke it into pieces
With all of your stupid lies and games
All those times you humiliated me
Countless times you caused me pain

And now you're having second thoughts

Good To Be Gone

After all those times you beat me down
Played cruelly with my head and heart

Well now it's good to finally say
I'm now moving on with my life
No longer willing to be a puppet
Or get dragged into all your strife

Finding out I'm so much stronger
Than I ever would have believed
Can't believe I stayed for so long

Now, walking outside in fresh air
I can relax and enjoy the sun
No longer worrying you're near
On alert and getting ready to run

You said to me that the distance is just too much,
It killed you, and you couldn`t handle it anymore,
But Baby, if only you would have listened when I said:
"There`s a million different ways we can do this."

You turned on your heels, walked away from us,
I became just another memory, another face,
And you pretended you didn`t care at all anymore,
Ignored my calls and never wrote back to me.

There was too much tension between us lately,
The fights had done it all in tearing us clean apart,
But I put everything I had into saving you and I,
Yet, you insisted on burning these bridges.

You can set flames to however many bridges you want,
But it`s still not enough to keep me from seeing you,
`Cuz there`s still roads and water leading the way for me,
And I can get there faster than you can walk away.

There`s a million different ways to help us out of here,
To become something so much more than this,
And there`s a million different ways to say these words,
But I chose the most practical: "I will love you forever."
