please read, need advice

hey i'm writing a story just for the hell of it and i would like everyone's opinions. here's the first part:

I took a deep breath and looked up at the sky. The starts seemed especially beautiful tonight. They shined so brightly onto me in their brilliance. I walked along the path in the park, arm and arm with my best friend. She was staying at my house that night to get away from her mom. We had been friends since 7th grade, both of us now being 18 and freshmen in college. It was the night of my birthday and we were celebrating with a walk through the park so we could talk. Her mom didn’t really seem to care very much. I felt bad for her and she felt badly for me also because of my mom. We could confide in each other and usually it helped everything. That night her and her mom got in a big fight so she came over to my apartment knowing that my boyfriend and I wouldn’t care if she stayed for a day or two.
As we walked we talked about life. We discussed whether there really was a God or not, what will happen to our world with all that the human race is doing to destroy themselves. We could easily talk for hours at a time; we were so comfortable with each other.
It was almost two in the morning but neither of us was tired. The night was beautiful and the wintry air was cool and refreshing. At the moment we were talking about guys. Her boyfriend was being very stubborn at the moment, and not wanting to spend much time with her. He had recently got a Playstation 2 and had been playing it almost nonstop for about a week now. She was getting really fed up and wanted my advice on what she should do.

Well so far I like it...you're not done are you? I think you should keep it going. Is it a fiction or a non-fiction story?? Sorry, i'm kinda slow. But yea, so far i really like it...keep going.

no i'm not done. it's based on true life but in the future if that makes sense, i'm posting more of it soon

This isn't much more, but I haven't had time to write lately. The reason there's blanks near the end is because I can't think of any names. I'm open for any ideas.

She was trying to decide whether or not to break up with him. I told her she should tell him that if he didn’t spend more time with her their relationship wouldn’t last much longer. I personally didn’t like him and she knew that but I still wanted her to be happy.
We finally decided to go home and when we got there we found my boyfriend in a drunken state. We were both scared, especially me because he could be very dangerous when e was drunk. He was swaggering through the house, a football game playing on television. My friend and I went upstairs to the extra room where there was a computer and some of my stuff like things I’d written.
“Don’t worry ,” she said.
“I’m afraid of what he might do ,” I replied.
“Well maybe we should go back out,”

oooo wow! You've got me intrigued by this! Keep writing...I'm not sure what you need the advice on, as it seems you're doing fine as it is. Great story so far, the whole drunk thing rele has me, lol! Keep writing! I gotta know!
