why is self harm so addicting its really bugging me ive only been doin it just ova two years , n a cant stop ive tried i cant , is there people on here whos have got over succesfully ?can they tell me how , it will help other peps to , please its part of me now its part of my daily routine , but i dont want it to be i want it goon for good , please help |

find other ways of doing stuff rather than cutting...like the ice cube thing..grab them in a fist and wait until theyve melted..or get an elastic band and when you feel the need just ping it back on yourself... |

Hey, I use the rubberband method mostly. I might try that ice cube one though. There's aslo this box you can make. You get a small box (shoe box is best) and you put little things in there you enjoy to do. Have to be things you can do alone. I have a mad lib book, a crossword puzzle book, Billy Madison (movie), my game boy -lol-, and 2 books (funny books) It's best if they're all joyful things. And when you feel like cutting and the other methods don't work. You go to the box to get your mind off the blade. Good luck -xoxo- |

yes...I know it is possible to get over...cuz I have. i did the whole rubber band thing around my wrist...where you snap in on your wrist. But I also imagined blood running down...so i dont' know it was weird. I'm weird!! I know that you can do it though!! It is really addicting!! But i know you can... |
