Can you like someone even if you don't interact much??

There's this guy in my class that I'm really attracted to. I've been kind of staring at him. He noticed it and approached me one time in P.E. and we began talking. It felt natural and I enjoyed it and everything, but when he approached me the second time, I was so nervous that I totally screwed it up and made everything awkward.

We still say Hi to each other and everything. I don't know, I think I really like him a lot even if we only talked like a couple of times. I am so sure of it that I even broke up with my old boyfriend because our relationship was dying anyway.

Maybe if I had been less shy, I would have clicked more with him [the guy I'm attracted to]. Now I don't know what to do anymore cause I know that if this continues, he'll lose interest. I don't know what he thinks about me but I'm pretty sure he was attracted to me.. Just that maybe I don't really have the personality to hold his interest??

Should I pursue him? Or give up cause I screwed it up?? Do you think it's possible for a guy to like someone they don't interact much??

Ok, i had this same situation...or similar (the guy didn't notice me).

the fact that you screwed up or whatever just means that you have learned that lesson. Chances are...he has forgotten about the whole thing and still likes you. i say keep talking to him

First of all what school do you go to, that has co-ed gym, awesome! your so lucky!

Secondly this sounds like infactuation. I mean you don't know the guy so your pursuing solely based on his appearence. What I reccommend is you interact with him more, before you make a decision. Also, he'd probably be more comfortable with some more intereaction as well. Good Luck.

    I did the exact thing.

I met my boyfriend when I just entered high school, he was in grade 11. We stared at each other for the first 4 months and finally started talking in late January. We went to movies, flirted, hung out all the time and he finally asked me out in mid-feb.

Definitely go for it. I'm thankful I did. I love him to bits. (Close to 5 years and counting) Go up to him yourself and start up a conversation. If you screw up, laugh out loud at yourself. A guy likes a girl with confidence and humour. Even ask him to a movie, make it clear you want to be with him.

    Thanks for the replies everyone.

    I go to Oakland Tech.

I don't know anymore. Now, he seems to like another girl in my class. They interact awfully a lot. *Sighs* Oh wells. I won't hate or be jealous. Moving on would probably be better.
