Ok, the final three people in this round are,

    1. Gem
    2. Jenna
    3. Pete

This is going to be a kind of collab poem. So each of you take it in turns Gem, Jenna then Pete to write a stanza in the poem. Once you all have wrote 3 stanzas, I will deconstruct what I liked and disliked about every stanza and pick a winner that way.

Make sense? If not pm me and I'll elaborate a bit more....

After this round is finished you are all welcome to post it as a collab on your poetry. (Please give recognition to the people who helped you though)

I will start a stanza then Gem writes the next, then Jenna then pete etc..

    *POEM*

A wealthy family sits together at night,
    Talking about their eventful day.
A Lady; clutching her knees outside,
Closing her eyes as she prays.

Prays to the stars shining above
As they cast their sweet light upon her face
She huddles inside her dull threadbare coat
Sitting on top of a battered suitcase

Tick . Tock . Time is slipping away,
And as she screams into the stars,
She cries for the memory of yesterday --
Fading into the footsteps of her lonely scars.

Now just a sullen, sorry, shattered soul.
Forced on by painful dreary memories.
Trudging toward a new found goal...

I've waited long enough for my turn - I skipped ahead.

Forced on by painful dreary memories.
Trudging toward a new found goal...

Catching her case on the corner of despair
Her whole life tumbles onto the ground
    Memories scattered amongst the debris
She falls to her knee's as tears rain down

The family she sees have no way to know,
As they sit inside and enjoy their feast
Her family's gone to where she couldn't go
Alone and deserted by her recently deceased...

*Sorry it took a rather morbid turn*
