Well I think this might have been discussed before but I cannot find the thread, though I searched the 'search forum'. Anyways, I apologize if I'm repeating here but I just wanted to know..

Do you guys think it is possible to be in love with someone who's not in love with you? I don't mean a random guy off the street, or someone you've only known for a week or two either. I mean like a good friend. Someone you actually talk to and really know.
What do you think about this?
Or is love (in your eyes) only possible if it comes from both ends?

I think it's possible. it only takes one person to feel something. there was a quote i read somewhere once. "And the hardest thing is loving someone who doesn't love you."

    Its possible.

As tea said, it only takes one person to feel love.

I believe that people are fated to be with a special someone, fated to both love each other..

I agree. It's very possible to fall in love even if that person doesn't feel the same. That's where they get the term unrequited love, i think?

It is very much possible, even though the person maybe not feel the same.

Of course it is. People who fall in love with someone who isn't falling back, can often create a wrong picture, and think everything will be perfect, if you just get the person intereseted. That, on the other hand, is wrong.

Does it take two people to feel happiness?
Does it take two people to feel saddnes?
    To feel guilt?
    To feel faith?
    To feel trust?
    To feel dislike?
    To feel pain?
    To feel depressed?
    To feel at all?

We all feel by ourselves. To act on and carry out love, it takes two. But to get to know someone and slowly feel it doesn't take much more than any other emotion you can find. Love is the same as sadness or joy or guilt; an emotion.
