PALE FIRE

Who here has read Nabokov's Pale Fire?
Personally I think it might be the best poetry related novel I have ever read. The poem itself it beautiful, not to mention the unique and brilliant structure of the novel itself. Since poetry is generally so dependent on structure, I think the book is a brilliant exploration of poetry as a theme...
Thats my thoughts.. what are everyone elses?

By the way, if you haven't read Pale Fire yet, GET ON IT!!

Well I must tell you I haven't read the book .. although I have intention of reading it. A friend of mine has it.

Craig, I think you will be sorely dissapointed with the input from other members regarding such topics. You have to remember; the majority of this site (from what I've seen) are in their mid teens.
Some are here to better their knowledge of poetry and improve their own work. For the most part (as the disturbing person above me said) they will be discussing why they haven't fallen in love at the age of 13 yet.

You will, however, find a select few on this site that are interested in any topic brought up.

    ~Pete.

p.s - I'm going to get onto that book asap.
