Nah, the vocals in indy bore me after a while. I tend to go for more instrumental and epic orchestral stuff, with guitars and drums added in.

I can't listen to music and write at the same time. It's too confusing. If the music is on and I start to write I become totally oblivious to what music is playing. But I do get a lot of my inspiration from songs. Simply just a line, or even the concept/idea of a song will send me off on a crazy idea.

I once quoted a line from a song in one of my poems. It was so good, I had to put it in. :)

Music is everything to me and people who know me well, know that I always have my music with me or on. Music that I can relate to inspires me most.

I also love music and am seldom without it,I spend money mainly on old metal and rock bands like AC/DC , Judas Priest , Guns n Roses and so on but i listen to a music station on the radio as well at times.I prefer to write in quiet as i find music distracting, although it often inspires me to write

I think that music about life really helps my writing. Music about life really connects to my past and future. I play guitar, I write songs that can relate to my past, and i find that it really helps.
