please help...im just scared

i care about my baby so much....but my friends all of a sudden are saying that he isnt good for me, i can do better , or he will just screw me over....he does come off as a player and never planned to fall for him but he isnt who he comes off as...yes he is in jail...but i care bout him...anyways to cut to the chase ive been thinking about what my friends are saying and i have been having werid feelings....not good ones...scared feelings im not sure im trying to be told something or im just scared of getting hurt considering how much i like him...can anyone help?

Your friends only want the best for you and would never intentionally lead you wrong. why did he get in jail in the first place cuz that could effect how stable he really is. The fact that u asked shows that ur not sure of ur relationship with him either. So you should probably get to know him, and I mean really. You need to know who he REALLY is. and if you REALLY know him so well. His frontal act can hurt ppl around him..you included. You may need to make sure that he truly likes you back. and when you say "fall for him" do you mean in love with him? a little hard to tell that for real. He might not even know he's making you feel so scared and vunerable at this point so you should probably tell him what you're feeling. Well, I don't know how long u both been together but if it's long enough you should have no problem doing this. If he really cares for you he will understand or at least try. If he loves you..he won't want to intentionally hurt you. So, just let him know. You urself admit that he kinda comes off as a player of whom has been in jail as well. But I'm not counting the jail thing. I just hope he treats you with respect.cuz with his player front,I'm afraid of what you might go through now. It's best to so something now than to leave it growing till it blows up in ur face. The longer you wait, the deeper the pain will be and the greater the problem will grow. But if it smell like a dog, it feels like a dog, and barks like a dog...it's most likely a dog. Hope I helped in some way. well when i first met him he came off as a player....but now... he treats me with the most respect he makes me happy, my therapist said he can see a change in me since he came in the picture he said i am more happy, there isnt anythign wrong with our relationship really except he is in jail....he got charged with stagtory rape and a DUI....the stagtory rape is a long story but it was pretty much a girl who told him she was 17 but she was actulyl way younger and she called rape on him.....she has done it to alot of guys...i think im just scared that how he treats me so well is just an act and im gonna get hurt...and i get feelings like i duno if it sounds werid but like if something is gonna go wrong i can sometimes feel it....and i felt that but it might jsut be nervous...i care about him alot but i dont want to rush things and say i love him ...but yes i care about him more then anything....but thanks so much for the advice it did help alot

no problem. I'm glad you're more happy. He seems to be nice in the end I guess but then again I don't him personally know as u do. In that if you do decide to tell him you love him down the line...just seriously don't rush it into a physical relationship. Since you said he treats you with the most respect now it shouldn't be a problem, he may at least wait till ur ready. *uhm..that shouldn't be any time so soon though* You have a good head on your shoulders and I'm sure things will be fine with you two or better :).
