They have these days to recognize their plight over the years. It is not just the homosexual community that attends these events. Straight people go as well, to show their support. They want equality, but they don't have it yet. I say parade away and forget the haters. |

^Exactly. I totally understand the confusion behind the parade, but frankly, I can understand the desire to get out from behind the shadows and show who you are. Until a man and a man can walk down the streets (other than in SF, Miami, or NY) or a woman and a woman and kiss with their hands held without receiving looks of confusion or disgust, there will be a gay pride parade and I say...more power to them. |

There was such an uproar around here when we enstated a pride day and had a lesbian couple on the front page of the paper. It is sad so many people still have their noses in places where they don't belong, a lot of people wrote into the paper, not only disgusted by pride but by the paper for covering it. So I had to write in and speak for the other side. |

Honestly, I think there's nothing wrong with gay relationships. I am not gay, nor do I have any interest in women, but I still don't think there's anything wrong with it. We should all be able to love whoever we want and not be judged by it. Saying someone shouldn't be gay is like a gay person telling you you shouldn't be straight. It makes so sense! Just don't even pay attention to them if you have a problem with it. Let them enjoy life the way they want to and just do the same. |

I have nothing against gay relationships, who you fall in love with is uncontrollable, many people think its wrong because they may have an image of how life is ment to be and some one liking the same gender doesnt fit it... i my self have had a gay relationship befor i gave up on love for now, so i would be nuts saying i was against it :P |
