How can I be a better girlfriend?

Okay, I'm being a really bad girlfriend. When I get close to someone I just kind of start pushing them away. That's what happened between me and my ex. I started pushing her away but I still love her. I told her that and she says it only felt like she was my GF after school. Please tell me how I can be a better girlfriend!

Well maybe let her know your problem and maybe ask her how you can improve? But yea, show that you care and even during school? try imagining your perfect girlfriend and try to act like her but with your x?!?!?
