    Bah to self control!

The first thing you need to realise is that you are not the only person in the world dealing / dealt with these types of problems. More than you would imagine is it happening in todays society.
This is not a generational problem, nor is it a problem per one nation. This is a worldwide problem. People nowadays are in an excess mindset, we want the best buzz we can have, and we want it alot.

The best advice I think you will receive here is simple, seek help!

I know that will come across as patronising, but I dont intend it that way. Speak to people that have beaten these types of problems. People that know how to beat it.

You will, deep down inside yourself, need to ~want~ to stop doing what you are doing though, halfhearted attempts will always fail.

Didnt we just have a thread on this?

an addict has no self control....
and has no strength over their addiction...

that's why there are groups, facilities, and organizations to attempt to help those willing to try to help themselves, because that is the only way to stop, to make the the decision on your own that you want the misery to end, and that you've had enough, that you want to quit for you and you alone....and are willing to do whatever it takes to do it.....if you have a serious problem with addiction, it is nearly impossible to recover by your self....and that doesnt make you weak willed, it's just the nature of the disease....this is just the opinion of recovering addict...so what the hell do i know?
