Everything. i absolutely loved the ending. it made the movie. and i thought that the whole movie tied together really well. from all of the negative things i heard i did not have high expectations. i regret that. thats about all i can say without giving away the movie.

Nah, it's a good... 300 pages, I'd say. Unless the novel by Matheson was based on an earlier short story?

I'm a closet fan of Will Smith. We'll see how he does... I'll probably want to read it before seeing the movie, though.

I personally love the film, Will tries his best to get the audience to really think that he is all that is left in New York. He showcases good acting in scenes where he tries to keep his sanity intact by having conversations with mannequins. You'll understand it if you see it, and made it clear to the audience that his dog is best friend (and all he has left). Alot of scenes played with my heart strings, including one in particular with sam (Dog). I'm a dog lover, and that scene was it for me. He tries is best to show his vulnerability as Robert Neville, not the hero, but the man. There are some bland parts in the movie, but none of which can outshine what a great movie it is. There is a quote from a certain famous anime/manga that can somewhat sum up the sadness in this movie
"Ichigo, I hate the rain... It rains in here too. When you're sad, the clouds became grey and it pours everso suddenly. Ichigo, I wonder if you can grasp the horror, of being rained on in this lonely world" -Zangestu

For a movie that made over 76 million dollars, breaking the december record of 72 million which the lord of the rings the return of the king held, i would think that the majority of people enjoyed it. im still hearing negative things about it. oh well.

The book is actually really good. The only problem is that based on the commercials, it looks like the movie doesn't follow the book too closely. Oh well.

I really wanna see it but Marcus is annoyed with it because Will Smith is Legend and he's really into the book and he says the lead character in it is nothing like Will.

    Hmph.. i like Will... lmao

Lol Gem. I love Will too. He's one of my favorite actors.
I saw I Am Legend and even though the faces on the creatures really really scared me, the movie was FANTASTIC and even the ending was great. I loved it. If you get a chnace, GO SEE IT! lol It was a good movie. Some people are just a$$e$ about it and saw it was bad.. I don't see how it was even somewhat bad. Tuh... lol Go see it for yourself.

The Charles Heston version was better. They made the movie to much of a heroic movie than the tragedy that the original was but eh? Too each their own. All in all Will Smith did a good acting job.

It was an interesting idea. In terms of cinematography, they could have done so much more with it given the beauty of empty streets that anyone who has lived in a busy city would have felt.

The infected humans were just very poorly conceived and visualized. Wil Smith himself was actually quite good for a man who had to act almost the whole film himself. He resurgence of humanity was well done.

    3 out of 5.....

I liked it.. although a lot of people give bad comments on it. I cried in it aha.

It's orginated off an old movie called 'Omega Man' or something like that, so says my step father. It has the same sort of story line, but a few changed to modernize it.

    The dogs name is Samatha.

I enjoyed the movie alot, I found it to be quite interesting. Though some parts it were too far fetched, expecially the mutant dogs being released in my opinion.

But has anybody seen the alternate ending to the movie? My friend loves it but I think it takes away from the original ending. Though in the extended version (the one with the alternate ending) there are a couple of scenes that are added and it includes the idea that I had that I knew was true about the Night Walker being the father/brother/or lover of the girl that Will Smith took.

I thought the movie was amazing. I also really liked the book.

They were, however, two completely different stories.

When it says "based on the book by James Matheson," they mean it in the most vague sense possible.

"Watch the movie "28 weeks later", they are very similar"

Not really...only if you view them in a shallow manner. In that case it's the same as all monster movies.
