A crush

I have a crush on this guy at my school.And I think he might like me too.The problem is I don't know if I'm ready to give my heart up again.I know I should just try and I will probabily be happy with my desicion because he is nothing like my ex but I'm really shy and I don't think I can do it.I also don't know for sure if he likes me.So what if I get the courage to ask him,then he says no and it ruins the friendship we have now?

Any advice?

Maybe you should just wait and find out if he really likes you or not but that might take a while..you should tell him how you feel and no matter what happens your friendship shouldn't be ruined if he is really your friend.

You'll never know if you don't ask. And if he lets that ruin your friendship, he wasn't a very good friend to begin with and you can do better. Besides, I've always thought that the reason "I don't know if I'm ready to give up my heart again" has always been a lame excuse for being weak and not allowing yourself to open up again . It won't get you anywhere .
If he says no, you won't die .
And if he lets that come between your friendship,
He isn't worth it .

I think u should just ask....i mean if he stops talken to u just cuz u told him u liiked him then thats immature....at least u told him....and if hes acting like he likes u maybe hes doen that cuz he DOES like u but he wants u to say sumthen before him cuz hes scared of the same thing!...so i hope that helps u!

Thanks everyone.I'm going to tell him.And for the comments about giving my heart up,I was over-dramatic about that.Lol.But I am usually serious about love,even though I do have fun.Again,thanks and hope for the best.

I think you should approach him and just be honest, if he says no, then being a friend, he should be fine with it, theres also a good chance of him saying he feels the same. waiting around sometimes means losing the chance, something I am all too familiar with people.

I believe you should just wait, let your heart heal back up before thinking about giving it away again. I'm in the same situation, kind of, but I know I'm not ready to give mine back up so I'm just waiting for it to heal and for the right guy to come along and sweep me off my feet. But if this guy approaches you, just tell him what's going on. If he really does care about you, he'll wait until your ready to have another relationship. If not, then he wasn't good enough for you anyways.

Just ask him. I mean Im going through the same situation like Im telling this guy today... and its crazy. but Ive taken advice like you and i feel confident. But just be cool. Talk to him alone and ask him. then see how he treats you around others. Then talk to some of his friends and see what he says about you. then you will really know

Flirt with him like mad so he gets the hint thats wat i did n i have a really great bf but if he doesnt get the hint puck up the courage and ask him out ive also done that a few times in the past got regected by 1 but hey its not the end of the world and some guys have said yes so give it a try.

I agree.... life is too short...you never know when life might end... i was in your situation... i was scared to be with anyone again because i got really hurt the last time...but now im so happy i gave him a chance because my bf makes me so happy!!!
Just becareful i dont want you giving your heart in right away but just take your time!
