From best friends To nothing

I pretty much know what most of you will probably say. b/c all my friends say it too. But love. I feel like I've loved two guys before. And the other posts I've posted is about my second love. My first love. .I still care about him. Even though he's a complete dickhead. I've been friends with him for about 10 years now. I use to consider him one of my best friends. .that is, until 3 years ago. He let his popularity get in the way of our friendship. He became a total jerk. So I tried to let go. .
This year his friends were complete assholes to me. And everytime I confronted him, he assured me that he had nothing to do with it. His friends, they insult me; they call me names; they hurt my feelings; they've fucked with my head. And I'm tired of their bullshit. And he doesn't bother trying to stop it. .He talked to me a couple months ago, giving me some bullshit about how he wanted to stay friends with me, that he didn't want our friendship to end because we've been friends for so long. He told me that I should be the one person he can trust with anything. .he said a lot of flattering things. But they were nothing more than pretty words that i was deceived by. I still care about him. And it hurts for me to pass by him everyday in school and force myself to ignore him. It hurts to walk by him and know he doesnt care that I've not said hi. It hurts to brush by him and know that he'll never come after me. It just hurts to see him. And know that he simply doesnt care.
Sorry. This ended up being kinda long. .but my point is. .I should just let go right? I should just give up right? I should just. .forget about him. .right?

Yes, you should let go, especially if the guy treats you that bad. Don't give up per se, theres nothing to stop you from being friends with him, just dont let urself get too close to him again, as you'll most likely get hurt again. Hope i help.

I'm sorry to say this but.. if he's a 'true friend' he'll stay by you even if he is against his new friends.

So.. forget about him. Move on. By the time he realize your worth - it's too late.
