FURIOUS WITH WAL-MART!

    Did I spell Furious right?

    Guess I did!

Alright, I'm here to say, I'm disgusted by Wal-Mart.

My aunt had called my grandma JUST as we walked into Wal-Mart. Well my grandma stopped as we got into the store, past the beeper thingys, right before we got to the produce section in the front of the store. She talked to my grandma for about a half and hour. My grandma was mad I tell you, she was FUMING. I could've imagined steam coming out of her ears, it was that bad. When she had gotten off the phone I asked her what happened to my aunt.

My grandma told me that my aunt and her little 4 year old daughter had went to Wal-Mart last night [11-30-07] and shopped. Well they were shopping and they went to check out and to tell you now, sometimes you get warm in your coat, well thats what happened to them, so they threw their coats into the back of the cart. Well they checked out a while later, for all those who have kids that are 4 or were 4, you know how hard it is to try to unload the cart and maybe forget a thing or two, and not mean it, because your 4 year old is talking and your trying to comfort him/her. Well my aunt walked out of the store and she forgot a bag of oranges that they threw their coats over and didn't notice that they were there. Well a security guard stopped them, because he was watching her, said he needed to look at her receipt. Well she forgotten to pay for the oranges. So he took her back in the security room and everything. He confronted her about it and she said she had forgotten it and she's willing to pay for it. He said she was a shoplifter and could NEVER enter another Wal-Mart again. She told him as she walked out, if I was going to steal anything it sure in heck wouldn't be oranges. I know my aunt for sure DOES NOT SHOPLIFT.

This is just to tell you how cruel Wal-Mart can be. Someone that had forgotten to pay for something because it was covered by something, and willing to pay for it, is getting busted while they let people who really steal things from Wal-Mart, like clothes and that, and they get away.

This was a cruel and un-needed punishment for my aunt. Can never enter a Wal-Mart because she had forgotten something in the back of her cart.

    This isn't fair!

Believe me, Walmart has a long line of stomach wrenching stories. Walmart - High Cost of Low Prices, a good documentary.

I worked at a wal-mart for five months and got fired. the reason? at orientation the manager failed to give me the correct information and it was my fault.

Well since theres a lot to tell about wal mart why not locals try to get this in legal way. for sure wal mart got cameras around, thye can always run a scan on it if someone stole a goods.

good thing we dont have wal marts here in the phils.
== anyway i work for a call center, u.s based and i usually receive calls that they just paid there bill thru wal mart, or one of the payment center in wal mart etc, etc, so thought its a pretty good place, comfy to shop and i thought people are nice.. well thats where i first heard about wal mart.

Wow thats really serious. Things like that happen at the Wallys by me, but like if you explain they seem to be good.

(Im used to the beepers. Like before they changed to just beeps, I had it memorized.

"We're sorry you have activatied Wal-Marts inventory control system. Please step back and an associate will help you. thank you.")

They are not being unreasonable you know. It's their job to catch thieves. Sure, you were unfairly judged but for all they knew you could have been thieves. I have stolen from there before, they do take it quite seriously and they have an incredible problem with shop lifters. They try to clamp down where they can, I could see why they assumed thievery.

"When you shoplift, the worst they can do is ban you from it for a year or so"

You can be charged for shoplifting, it's called theft and if you are caught they should charge you.

Yeah but some people just HONESTLY forgot something in their cart, why should they be charged with theft if they didn't do it?
