Help getting over a bestfriend of 12 years!!!!!!!!

My best friend decided to tell me she didnt want to be my friend anymore how can i get over it?

12 years is a long time to be friends, it would be unusual for someone to decide, for no good reason after 12 years, to just stop being someones friend. You need some sort of acceptance and closure, I don't know what happened so I can't really elaborate.

I know EXACTLY how you feel, my best friend of 16 years just stopped talking to me for no reason 3 months ago. What hurts the most is I thought he was the real deal, we were so, so close.

All I can say is if they hurt you that much, you have to decide if its worth fighting for, or learn to let go and eventually the hurt will begin to stop.

This isnt exaclty the same but i was best mates with this girl 4 2 years and then due to a certain unmentionable issue (which i can perfectly understand) she stopped speaking to me. And i know it was my fault she stopped being mates with me but its been 4 months since she last spoke 2 me and i still cry most nights. I cant get ovr her. I liked her so much . I know 12 years is a lot longer than 2 but i dont know if this hurt will ever stop. And i know that dosnt help but you just have to find away to express your hurt like for example through poems

Yeah i want to just let it go which im doing step by step but its kinda hard since she lives right beside me ( literaly) and she said she didnt want to be friend anymore cause im mean but im not and its not the first time she dissed me she has done before one time was for he new bf that just wanted to get in bed and her mom stopped her from hangin out with me too i tried to fix things and say sry even though i didnt do anything wrong but its been almost six months since ive spoken to her not to mention i just broke up with my long distance bf thats in the navy and he hates me now so yeah it sucks right now any advice?
