Xx Butterfly Kisses xX - DREAMS

Pink candy canes and butterfly kisses
Close your eyes darling, fulfill all your wishes
Slide down the rainbow into a sea of gold
To a magical place where you never grow old

Keep a tight hold of your dear teddy bear
Watch as the mermaids comb their shining hair
They'll sing you a song with voices so sweet
Listening to them is such a lovely treat

Chocolate drops fall from a Vanilla sky
Pixies and fairies are all flying high
Scattering pixie dust over your head
This is better than any fairytale you've read

The glitter carousel is waiting to start
Shimmering unicorns beg you to take part
The organ strikes up a tinkling tune
About a little cow who jumped over the moon

Pink candy floss cloads float lazily past
Time in this dreamworld flies by way too fast
A cute little elf reaches for your hand
Ring around the roses then fall on the sand

Butterfly kisses and cold lemonade
An enchanted dreamworld that your mind has made
So go to sleep sweetheart, close your tired eyes
Spend all your sweet dreams with magic butterflies

Xx Lips Of An Angel - Ottava Rima xX - ANGELS

Those lips of an angel get me every time
So luscious and soft and so heavenly
They start to move closer until they brush mine
Kissing me softly and so sensually
I start getting tingles up and down my spine
As you lay me down on the pillows gently
You smile and tell me you love me so much
Still driving me crazy with your teasing touch

Those lips of an angel are smiling so sweet
Lulling me into a state of sheer bliss
Whispering sweet words, my heart skips a beat
Feels like I'm falling in a love filled abyss
If this was a tape I'd keep it on repeat
I just want to stay locked in your angel kiss
This whole entire night just feels so surreal
These feelings I have, I just can't conceal

Those lips of an angel now start to explore
I bask in the pleasure your teasing provides
As our clothes fall into a heap on the floor
I love the feeling as our skin collides
Feeling a sensation I've not felt before
It's all because of this love you've supplied
I reach out and trace the smile on your face
I feel so lucky wrapped in your embrace

Those lips of an angel now kiss me with care
And then we begin and it just feels so right
You've shown me that there's no need to be scared
I look deep in your eyes and hold you so tight
Then my body feels like it's floating on air
And I've reached a place where my heart takes flight
We lay close together, bodies intertwined
Those lips of angel get me every time

This type of poem is a poem written in 8-line octaves. Each line is of a 10 or 11 syllable count in the following rhyme:
One stanza poem. a, b, a, b, a, b, c, c
Two stanza poem. a, b, a, b, a, b, c, c. d, e, d, e, d, e, f, f
Three stanza poem. a, b, a, b, a, b, c, c. d, e, d, e, d, e, f, f. g, h, g, h, g, h, i, i ... so on and so on

Xx Fairy World xX

In this universe there are two worlds
They exist peacefully side by side
On one side is the world of mortal men
Whilst the other is where the fairies hide

A thin veiled curtain separates the two
A veil of gossamer, misty and light
It may be drawn back, softly, gently
Revealing the fairy world of sprites

Fairies can be seen where flowers bloom
And where a tree embraces the skies
Where rivers make a path to the ocean
And whenever a small child sighs

It's at these places where the curtains thin
Where fairies are most readily seen
Leaving behind a blanket of fairy dust
A shimmering trail of where they've been

Those that are lucky to catch a glimpse
Are touched by magic and freed from pain
They've opened their eyes, minds and hearts
And their lives will never be quite the same

The fair stories are as timeless as the sky
Infinite as the stars, no beginning or end
A crystal cascade of days that flow endlessly
It's down to you if it's real or pretend

For the fairy world is always there
With a heart that's honest, open and true
You only have to open your eyes
It's waiting to be discovered by you

I'll take worlds and dreams please

Worlds

Rolling Irish hills,
with Forest air in my lungs.
Far away mountains,
snow capped and frigid

Beautiful blue sky
Spotted with fluffy white clouds
Shaped in whatever
our imaginations create.

Green grass so lovely,
to sit upon with your love
To gaze upon the night sky
Hand in hand

Valleys so deep and secret
To wander among
To see small villages nestled
amid them, homes and families

My perfect world
with everything lovely
But no, of course
Nothing like this is real

All these worlds will
never exist, unless
we believe upon which
wil make us content.

But as I look into the dismal Grey sky,
and the hard stone pavement
The night sky holds nothing
and I see the truth.

The valleys filled with nothing but sorrow
And the clouds bring only rain
Dreams are meant for dreaming
And nothing gold can stay.

Fallen From Grace

She slithers across the grimy earth,
This is not where she belongs.
But now her destiny is to travel the world,
And sing her cold lonely song.

Low hollow tones and faint mournful words,
Flow from her mouth like black tears
That cascade slowly down her sallow ashen face
From eyes that brim with her fears.

This monstrosity of a spectre,
This ghastly gruesome presence
Was once a holy angel from up above
But now has a hostile essence.

She skulks in the shadows of times gone by
Bitter from her fall from grace.
White robe now crimson with the blood of her victims
Halo cannot be replaced.

She no longer guards heaven's white gates
But guards the gate to her past
Longing to forget how far she has fallen
So far that she is outcast.

No longer atop her fluffy white cloud
But dragging herself through the mire
No longer is she a hallowed guardian
Or something to which we aspire.

But a vile malevolent phantom
From whom all should back away
Wishing for her sins to be forgiven, redeemed
Alas here on the Earth she will stay.
